Die Wäschestücke sind selbstverständlich zuvor in der erforderlichen Weise angefeuchtet, und gewöhnlich wird auch noch das Seifenstück vor d& Benutzung in das Wasser eingetaucht, damit es beim Einreiben besser abträgt. Die Seife wird dann an einer trockenen Stelle abgelegt. Darauf wird die Bürste zur Hand genommen und die Wäsche gebürstet.
