Bisher war Fremdhilfe erforderlich, um das Fahrzeug wieder fahrbereit zu machen, sei es durch Austausch der Batterie oder durch Wiederherstellen der Bleipole mit Hilfe eines elektrischen Schweißgerätes unter Zuführen von Blei oder Zinn. Mit der Neuerung soll eine Vorrichtung zum Wiederherstellen der Bleipole einer Autobatterie geschaffen werden, die den Kraftfahrer in die Lage versetzt, den Schaden selbst zu beheben.
