Description
Elektromagnetisches RelaisElectromagnetic relay
Die Erfindung betrifft ein elektromagnetisches Relais mit
aufgeschweißten Doppelkontakten. The invention relates to an electromagnetic relay with
welded double contacts.
It is known that the contacts in relays are designed as double contacts in order to achieve a higher contact reliability than with a single contact. To ensure even wear of the precious metal coating, double contacts are arranged on the movable spring of a relay in such a way that the spring is divided into two tongues at the contact end, each of which carries a contact piece.
During the switching process, vibrations occur in the moving spring, which cause contact bounces at the contact point and lead to unwanted contact openings when a contact is closed. One consequence of this is that the contact lifespan is reduced, since each bounce multiplies a switching process and contact material is lost.
The aim of the invention is to reduce the bounce of the contact pieces or to shorten the bounce time. The bounce time is the time that elapses between the first closing of a contact and its complete closing.
The object is achieved according to the invention in that contact pieces of different masses are applied to the tongues of the movable contact spring.
Due to the different masses of the contact pieces, the oscillation frequency of the two tongues changes so that, since it is a one-sided clamped system, one contact piece always closes the contact while the other has its contact open. Synchronous oscillation of the contact tongues is prevented.

In an embodiment of the invention, it is possible for the tongues of the contact spring to be of different lengths. The change in length results in a different swing behavior of the Zuncan. This also ensures that not both contact rods open the contact at the same time, but that one always keeps the contact closed while the other is open. An example of an embodiment is shown in the drawing and is described in more detail below:
Dual-in-line-Relais Fig 1 shows one half of a relay housing, e.g. dual-in-line relay
Fig 2 und 3 zeigen Ausführungen von beweglichen Kontaktfedern Fig 4 zeigt die Relaisgehäusehälfte mit eingesetzter beweglicher FederFig. 2 and 3 show designs of movable contact springs Fig. 4 shows the relay housing half with inserted movable spring
Fig. S shows the view from the right of the contact arrangement of the double contact switch.
Figure 2 shows a contact spring 3 with a shorter contact piece 4 and a longer contact piece 5, which are welded onto a tongue 6 or 7 of the contact spring on the top and bottom. The contact spring 3 is attached to the support point 2 by welding and lies with the contact pieces mentioned between the fixed contacts 8. The contact spring is moved perpendicular to the spring axis by an actuating web (not shown) over about half its length, so that when the contact pieces 4, 5 impact on the contact piece 8, bruises are created which are no longer visible due to the different rest phases of the contact pieces 4, 5. The mass differences of the contact pieces^ can be achieved by using contact pieces of different lengths. The same effect is achieved by using a contact spring according to Figure 3 with different tongue lengths.
