Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Flechtgang, bei welchem mittelst besonderer Zierfaden dadurch, . dafs diese Fäden in geeignetem Wechsel in die Litze u. s. w. eingeflochten oder von der Einflechtung ausgeschlossen werden, stickmusterähnliche Figuren auf dem eingentlichen Flechtwerk erzeugt werden können. Zu diesem Zwecke sind die bezeichneten Zierfäden so angeordnet, dafs sie, von der Mitte des Gangtellers nach der Flechtstelle gehend, aus der Lage . unterhalb der nach dem Schöllchen bezw. der Flechtstelle laufenden Klöppelfäden über diese Fäden gehoben werden. können. In ersterer Lage dienen die Zierfaden, ähnlich wie die bekannten Mittelendfaden, zur Miterzeugung des Flechtwerkes, während in der gehobenen Lage ein Stück der Fäden frei bleibt, welches dann nach der Herabbewegung in die Lage unterhalb der Klöppelfäden auf der Oberfläche des inzwischen weiter geflochtenen Arbeitsstückes als aufliegender Faden erscheint. Je nach dem Lagenwechsel bezw. der Dauer des Anhebens und der Vertheilung der Zierfäden über die Gangteller werden durch die aufliegenden Fäden beliebige Figuren gebildet.
