Sdiuh Bei dem üblichen Schuhwerk ist das Schaftoberteil derart an den Schuhboden befestigt, daß die Grenzlinie zwischen den beiden Teilen in der Auftrittsebene für den Fuß liegt. Die Erfindung betrifft demgegenüber einenSchuh,bei dem derBoden als eine den Fuß allseitig bis zu einer gewissen Höhe umschließenden Schale ausgebildet ist, an deren oberem Rand das Oberteil befestigt ist. Auch derartige Schuhe sind bereits in Gestalt der sogenannten Opanken bekanntgeworden. Bei diesen handelt es sich um leichte modische Schuhe für Damen, deren aus einem Stück bestehende schalenförmig ausgebildeten Sohlenteile leicht und locker am Fuß anliegen. Die Oberkante des Sohlenteils und die Unterkante des Oberteils stoßen lose aufeinander, und beide Teile sind durch Schnüre oder Bänder, die durch Öffnungen in beiden Teilen hindurchgeflochten sind, locker miteinander verbunden. Es ist somit möglich, die Form der Unterschale ganz der besonderen Form des Fußes anzupassen. Gegebenenfalls können auch sehr leicht Einlagen u. dgl. in die Schale eingebaut werden. Dadurch, daß die Unterschale- an sich aus weichem Material, z. B. Oberleder, besteht, ist die Sohle dünn und elastisch. Die Linie, um die sich der vordere und der hintere Sohlenteil des Schuhes beim Laufen gegeneinander abwinkeln, liegt also praktisch in der gleichen Ebene wie der Drehpunkt des Großzehenballens des Fußes.
