Procedure for measuring the opening time of optical closures 1) ie
Prevention concerns a photoelectric arrangement for measuring the opening time
optical shutters that allow the measurement result to be read directly. It is
known the current of a photocell generated by the shutter from a light source
is illuminated, to os.zillographieren after amplification and after: \ iis \% - ertttng
of the oscillogram to determine the opening time of the shutter, but this is
The procedure is very cumbersome and requires a considerable amount to achieve sufficient accuracy
Effort. The invention provides an arrangement with which in a simple manner in a short
Time measurements can be carried out with great accuracy, which is therefore before
Especially suitable for the ongoing control of the production of optical closures.
According to the invention, the during the opening time of the shutter
The amount of light falling on the photocell is converted into a proportional amount of electricity
converted, which is fed to a capacitor, its resulting voltage change
is brought to the display by means of a tube voltmeter. Provided,
that the charging current of the capacitor is proportional to the light intensity generated by the
If it falls on the photocell, there is a change in voltage in the capacitor
proportional to the Zeitintregal of the light intensity, so the amount of light that during
the opening time falls through the shutter. With constant illumination of the shutter
the change in voltage of the capacitor is also proportional to the opening time, if
the time of opening and closing compared to the time of full opening
the closure can be neglected. As it is common in camera technology,
To assume such an ideal closure to define the opening times can
the instrument that displays the change in voltage of the capacitor, in
Time units are calibrated.
To carry out this measurement procedure
According to the invention, the switching arrangement shown in the figure can be used: The
Light from a lamp i, which comes from a battery 2 via an adjustable resistor 3
is fed, falls through the shutter 5 to be examined onto the photocell
6. Around all of the light falling through the shutter opening on the photosensitive
Collecting layer of photocell is a lens q. intended. The voltage drop,
which the photocell current causes at the preferably controllable resistor 7,
controls the electron tube 8, whose anode stiom partly via the rectifier tube
9 and the resistor io flows to the measuring capacitor i i, in part via a resistor
12 is derived .. The voltage of the measuring capacitor i i controls the electron tube
13, preferably .a space charge grid tube, which is a branch of a bridge circuit
forms, which is formed in the rest of the resistors 14, 15, 16 and in their
Bridge the display instrument 17 is located. The not shown direct current source of the
Overall arrangement feeds a voltage divider 18, on which the individual partial voltages
be tapped.
Die Anordnung wirkt in folgender Weise: Bei geschlossenem V erschlufL5sei_der-Photozellenstrom
gleich Null.
i i noch kein Strom fließt. Dies wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch erreicht, daß der
Widerstand 12 an einem höheren Potential liegt als der Kondensator i i. Dies Potential
The arrangement works in the following way: With closed V exhaustL5sei_der photocell current equal to zero. The grid voltage of the tube 8 is preferably set so that it then works at the lower kink of its characteristic curve. The corresponding anode current is completely diverted through the resistor 12 , so that no current flows to the measuring capacitor ii. This is achieved according to the invention in that the resistor 12 is at a higher potential than the capacitor i i. This potential and the resistor 12 are dimensioned so that the charging current of the capacitor ii begins to flow as soon as light falls through the shutter on the photocell. This charging current is largely proportional to the light intensity, since the tube 8 operates in the linear part of its control characteristic and the rectifier characteristic of the tube 9 is linearized by the preferably high resistance io.
des Kondensators i i das Instrument 17 keinen Strom führt.
The measuring bridge is preferably coordinated so that before the on ladtmg
of the capacitor i i the instrument 17 carries no current. By charging the call from
i i during the opening of the shutter 5, the bridge is detuned, so that the
The deflection of 17 is a measure of the voltage change at i i and thus that on the photocell

Request a linear or, for example, an approximately logarithmic course of the
Instrument current can be achieved depending on the amount of light. The reflux
the charge of the measuring capacitor i i is through the preferably height-insulating tube
9 prevents, so that the measuring capacitor discharges only very slowly and the measurement result
can be easily read on the instrument. After the reading, the measuring capacitor
by closing the switch i9 discharged again and preferably to a potential
brought that when the switch is open after a long time%, oii adjust itself
would. This measure avoids leaving the pointer of the instrument in
the time from switching off switch i9 to triggering the measurement process from the zero point
migrates away. The measuring capacitor is preferably a capacitor with a highly insulating
and after-effects-free dielectric units are used.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the charging current is regulated
on the setpoint, which the capacitor in a certain time on a certain
Voltage is charging, with the shutter 5 open, switch 2o is closed. The charging current,
by changing the light intensity by means of the resistor 3 and by changing the
Grid resistor 7 can be controlled, then flows through the resistor 22, whose
Voltage drop is brought to the display by the instrument 17. The resistance
22 is dimensioned so that the nominal value of the charging current has a certain deflection,
preferably gives the final deflection of the instrument. For checking the measuring bridge
itself a fixed voltage is applied to the capacitor via switch 21,
which have a certain deflection, preferably also the end deflection of the instrument,
must result. If necessary, several points can be created by applying other voltages
the instrument scale. Deviations from the target scale can
for example by changing a series resistor (not shown) of the instrument
or be compensated for by changing the heating voltage of the tube 13.
