Die Neuerungen beziehen sich auf:The innovations relate to:

eine Antriebvorrichtung des beweglichen Daumens, va driving device of the movable thumb, v

einen neuen Bewegungsmechanismus der Kämmwalze und des Daumens,a new movement mechanism of the combing roller and the thumb,

eine Neuerung an dem Bewegungsmechanismus der festen Zange.an innovation in the movement mechanism of the fixed pliers.

In Fig. ι ist E der Daumenträger, welcher in den Gleitstücken e geführt und durch den Hebel C bewegt wird, welch letzterer um die Axe d beweglich ist, und seinen Antrieb durch das Excenter N erhält. Die Feder R zieht die Leitrolle H auf das Excenter nieder, so dafs beide in Berührung bleiben. Das Excenter M bewirkt die Auf- und Abwärtsbewegung der Kämmwalze. Die Excenter M und N sind derart construirt, dafs sie ermöglichen, dafs der Bandkopf an jeder gewünschten Stelle erfafst werden kann.In Fig. Ι E is the thumb carrier, which is guided in the sliders e and moved by the lever C , which the latter is movable about the axis d, and is driven by the eccentric N. In dem Augenblick, wo der Arm D, welcher den Kamm trägt, das Anschlagstück G berührt, wird der Daumenträger B (infolge der Construction des Excenters) von dem Excenter N unabhängig, die Kämmwalze übernimmt alsdann durch das Excenter M die Führung des beweglichen Daumens.The eccentric JV brings the movable thumb into contact with the combing roller at the point where the combing work is to begin. Zugleich wird die Aufwärtsbewegung des beweglichen Backens der festen Zange durch das Excenter P bewirkt.
