Gegenstand der Neuerung ist eine Vorrichtung zum Befestigen eines Seiles an einer Seiltrommel. Derartige Seiltrommeln werden z. B. in Schreibmaschinen und Druckern verwendet und dienen dazu, den Druck\!/erkschlitten entlang der Druckzeile zu bewegen. Diese Aussparung dient dizu, ein am Ende des Seiles angeordnetes Element, z. B. einen Knopf oder etwas ähnliches, aufzunehmen. Die Aussparung der Seiltrommel weist dazu eine radiale Bohrung auf, die in einer der Rillen der Seiltrommel angeordnet ist. Es ist nunmehr erforderlich, das Seil durch diese Bohrung hindurchzufuhren. Nachdem die Seiltrommel häufig aus Kunststoff besteht, ist somit einerseits ein kompliziertes Werkzeug zu deren Herstellung notwendig.
