Das Kohlendioxyd geht dann über die Leitung f und das Ventil g in die freie Atmosphäre oder zu irgendwelcher Verwertung. PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Zerlegung eines Gemisches aus Methan und Kohlendioxyd, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das auf mindestens Zoo atü verdichtete Gemisch zunächst mit Wasser so weit wie möglich herabgekühlt und getrocknet wird, dann in einem Wärmeaustauscher weiter so tief abgekühlt wird, daß das Kohlendioxyd in einem nachgeschalteten Abscheider sich flüssig abscheidet und über einem ständig geöffneten Ablaß über den Tripelpunkt entspannt wird, wobei es wieder vergast und seine Kälte im Wärmeaustauscher an das abzukühlende Rohgas abgibt und das vom Kohlendioxyd nahezu befreite Restgas ebenfalls seine Kälte an das Rohgas abgibt.
