Beim Zusammenlegen des neuen Hochsitzes wird das Rohr r ganz in die Strebe q geschoben, und dann werden beide auf den Rahmen α geklappt und an diesem in geeigneter Weise befestigt. Nun wird das Drahtseil I um den Baumstamm d herum- und in die ösen m eingelegt und der Haken η in den bei gestrafftem Seil erreichbaren Schlitz 0 eingehängt. Durch Drehen der Flügelmutter A wird das Drahtseil Z vollends gespannt, und die Spitzen c werden in den Baumstamm d getrieben.
