Gegenstand der, Erfindung .ist ein Gerät zum Schließen von Band- und
Drahtbereifungen. Das erfindungsgemäße Gerät weist zwei schwenkbar miteinander verbundene
doppelermige Hebel auf, die auf einer Seite der Drehachse Handgriffe bilden, während
auf der anderen Seite der Drehachse Einhängestellen für die zu schließende Bereifung
vorgesehen sind. Die Ausbildung ist dabei derart, daß beim Zusammendrücken der Handgriffe
die Eingriffstellen voneinander entfernt und eine an denselben eingehängte Bereifung
infolgedessen gespannt wird. Die Handgriffe sind erfindungsgemäß im Querschnitt
U-förmig ausgebildet, und sie be= sitzen an ihren der Drehachse benachbarten Teilen
einander zugekehrte-Nasen, die sich vorzugsweise in der Schließlage fast berühren.
Diese Ausführungsform des Geräts gestattet eine einfache und betriebssichere Ausbfdung,
und es lassen sich mit ein und demselben Gerät verschiedene Zwecke erreichen. Es
ermöglicht nicht nur das Spannen und Schließen z. B. einer Bandbereifung, sondern
