Description
The wooden gable cornices for dressing or covering the side edges of the roof tiles have the disadvantage that they rot quickly and use a material that is rare in the economy. One is therefore in the newer Time more and more went over to the roof tiles in place of the wooden cornice Put in mortar. However, this method has the disadvantages that once this cornice looks very bad, while on the other hand the method is cumbersome and a lot Requires work and also the roof tiles easily loosen.
These inconveniences are eliminated by the present invention; it consists in the fact that concrete structures are laid on the masonry as the gable cornice that grip with an L-shaped nose over the side edges of the roof tiles and here it is expediently smeared in a known manner. This in cross section L-shaped concrete structure can easily be made in the desired length and width manufacture and process very easily and quickly. They form an effective conclusion of the roof, especially since they cannot rot like the wooden cornices, on the other hand this one not inferior in appearance. The roof battens are also protected and cannot more lazy.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. FIG. 1 shows a plan view of a gable cornice according to the invention, FIG. 2 a section through the new gable cornice. According to the invention, there is a new gable cornice from the concrete structures a, with the web b and the nose c on the relevant Side edges of the roof tiles grip d, so that this structure in cross section Have an L-shaped profile. The side edges of the roof tiles are expediently with the Lugs c connected by the mortar layer f so that they are perfectly solid and secured lie. Furthermore, the roof battens g when using this new concrete structure as a gable cornice no longer rot.
The concrete structures can be produced in the desired width and length and earth it very lightly on the masonry h.
