Hierbei werden zweckmäfsig auf 10 Gewichtstheile Gyps oder Gypsmasse 0,4 Gewichtstheile Graphit oder Talk oder eine Mischung dieser beiden Stoffe genommen. Die Mischung von Graphit und Talk mit Gyps wird theils auf trockenem, theils auf nassem Wege vollzogen, die Masse wie gewöhnlich mit Wasser angemacht, in Formen gegossen und getrocknet. Nach dem vollständigen Trocknen wird alsdann eine gewünschte Farbe aufgetragen, worauf durch Bearbeiten mittelst des Reibholzes oder Stahles oder mittelst Politurachates binnen wenigen Secunden Hochglanz erzeugt werden kann.
