Description

There are known radiators for central heating that consist of pipe registers consist of nipples connected at the top and bottom and attached to the heating pipe system are connected to the heating system. The radiators are designed so that only the outer surfaces of the pipes give off the heat to the air in the room to be heated. Designs of such radiators are generally made of steel. To a sufficient one To have a heating surface are a relatively large number in such radiators Pipe register necessary. The consumption of material and the space required for such radiators is relatively large.

The present invention aims to reduce the space requirement of a radiator to a large extent, a better warming of the room to be heated and to be relatively easy in the manufacture of the radiator.

According to the invention this is achieved in that double-walled tubes Any cross-section and any shape used in the upper and lower headers and thereby form pipe registers. The individual pipe registers are also here again through nipples, which are arranged on the side surfaces of the collector, to radiators united.

The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the inner tubes or the inner pipe walls are passed through the header and are open at the top and bottom stay. With these radiators, the heating medium flows between the pipes of the double pipes by. With this arrangement according to the invention, the following essential advantage is obtained achieved. The air to be heated not only brushes on the external surfaces along, but runs through, facilitated by the chimney-like effect inside of the double pipe lying from bottom to top, making a much faster A room is heated. In addition, the same space is required for the radiator almost twice the heating surface achieved. The manufacture of such radiators is conceivable simply because of their simple structure.

An exemplary embodiment is shown in the drawing. It shows Fig. I a section through a pipe register along the line AB in Fig. 2, Fig. 2 a view of a pipe register from the side, partially in longitudinal section, Fig. 3 view of a pipe register from the front, Fig. 4 view of a pipe register from above. A pipe register consists of the collectors a for the inlet of the heating medium and b for the outlet of the heating medium. The connection between these two headers a and b is made by outer tubes e and inner tubes d. The space between these pipes d and e serves for the passage of the heating medium from top to bottom (see arrow). The inner pipe d is carried out to the outside of the collector a, b. The resulting interior space within the tube d remains open at the bottom and top and is used for the passage of the air of the room to be heated. The effect of this arrangement is chimney-like, and the passage of air consequently takes place with considerable passage speed from bottom to top (see arrow) against the direction of movement of the heat-emitting heating means located between the two pipes d and e. This arrangement makes it possible to heat the room to be heated much faster than before, because the air circulation is very significant due to the chimney effect of the inner pipe. In addition, this arrangement achieves almost twice the heating surface as a normal radiator with the same space requirements. On the sides of the collector at the top and bottom, threads for nipples are provided in a known manner, through which the assembly of several pipe registers to form a radiator takes place here as well. These threads are also used to connect the radiator to the pipe system of the heating system.
