Es ist α das Petroleumfafs mit dem für Standgefäfse und dergl. bestimmten leeren Raum B. Mittelst eines an A befindlichen Rohrstutzens B¹ und eines Hahnes C ist mit dem Fafs A ein Behälter D verbunden, der als Mafseinheit für die zu verkaufende Flüssigkeit gilt und zu diesem Zwecke geaicht ist. An der Bodenmitte des Behalters befindet sich der Ablafshahn E, dessen Küken mit dem des Hahnes C durch Hebel FF¹ und Zugstange G verbunden ist, und zwar ist die Stellung der Küken eine derartige gegen einander, dafs der eine Hahn offen ist, wenn der andere geschlossen ist, und umgekehrt. Dreht man demnach den Hahn C auf, so kann das OeI durch B¹ C in das nun geschlossene Gefa'fs D strömen und dieses füllen. Die in demselben befindliche Luft kann dabei durch das Luftventil H entweichen, bis das Kügelchen J, von der steigenden Flüssigkeit gehoben, an den Ventildeckel anschlägt, den Luftausflufs schliefst und so angiebt, dafs der Behälter gefüllt sei, zugleich den Nachflufs von OeI in den Mefsbehälter verhindernd. Die Entleerung des Behälters erfolgt durch Oeffnen des Hahnes E und gleichzeitigen -Schlufs von C, so dafs während der Entleerung durchaus kein Zufiufs von Flüssigkeit stattfinden kann. Das Kügelchen J senkt sich dabei von selbst und gestattet wieder Zutritt von Luft und ermöglicht dadurch den Ausflufs des OeIs aus dem Behälter.
