Die Säuglingsauflage wird dazu ganz einfach nur aus dem Liegebereich des Bettes in Anlage an das Fußteil zu einem flachen, nicht störenden Gebilde angeklappt. Eine Abnahme vom Bett ist daher nicht nötig. Bei Gebrauch ist die Säuglingsauflage mit derselben Kippbewegung in umgekehrter Richtung parat.
