Die vorliegende Einrichtung, welche in Fig. 1 in Ansicht, in Fig. 2 im Querschnitt dargestellt ist, besteht aus vielen neben einander stehenden Iothrechten Rohren A von beliebiger Höhe, an deren Aufsenseite die zu kühlende Flüssigkeit herabrieselt.The present device, which is shown in view in FIG. 1 and in cross-section in FIG. 2, consists of many adjacent right-hand tubes A of any height, on the outside of which the liquid to be cooled trickles down.
Um eine grofse Kühlfläche herzustellen, ist jedes Rohr aufsen mit einem Schraubengang versehen, auf dem die zu kühlende Flüssigkeit herunterläuft, so dafs für dieselbe ein langer Weg und eine grofse Abkühlungsfläche geschaffen wird. Aufserdem ist noch Kühlung der Rohre von innen vorgesehen, zu welchem Zweck jedes einzelne Rohr am Fufs mit einer oder mehreren Oeffnungen -D (Fig. 4) versehen ist. Die von aufsen eintretende kalte Luft verdrängt die in den Rohren durch das Berieseln mit warmer Flüssigkeit angewärmte, verdünnte Luft und es entsteht eine starke Luftcirculation bezw. Kühlung. Die zu kühlende Flüssigkeit wird den Rohren aus einer Rinne B zugeführt, welche in der Nähe jedes derselben eine kleine verstellbare Oeffhung C (Fig. 3) hat, damit die Menge der herabfliefsenden zu kühlenden Flüssigkeit geregelt werden kann.In order to produce a large cooling surface, each tube is provided on the outside with a screw thread on which the liquid to be cooled runs down, so that a long path and a large cooling surface are created for it.
