Bei den (aus der Praxis) bekannten Magnetverschlüssen ist
der Aufbau im wesentlichen so getroffen, daß Magnet und Eisenkern in verhältnismäßig flachen Halterungen bzw. Halteblöcken mittels durch Langlöcher hindurchgeführter Schrauben an den
zugeordneten Möbelteilen befestigt werden. Der Türflügel ist über zugeordnete Scharniere am Möbelteil befestigt. Im Laufe der Zeit ist ein Ausschlagen der Scharniere und das Auftreten eines entsprechenden Spiels zwischen diesen Teilen nicht zu
vermeiden. Die Türflügel hängen mehr oder weniger durch. Das führt zu einem unschönen Aussehen. Ferner bewirken die dabei herbeigeführten Verschiebungen von Magnet und Eisenkern zueinander oft eine Beeinträchtigung der Verschlußkraft.

Er ist am Türflügel mittels eines Schraubenbolzens 9 befestigt, der zumindest mit einem als Eisenkern 10 dienenden Kopf versehen ist. Nach der Erfindung ist der Halteblock als Außenkonus 3 ausgebildet. Beim Schließen des Türflügels schiebt sich daher der Außenkonus 3 in den Innenkonus 5 ein, bis der Eisenkern 10 mit dem Magneten 7 in Berührung kommt und von diesem festgehalten wird.
