Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zum Feuerlöschen mittelst flüssiger Kohlensäure, wodurch ein Erstarren der letzteren infolge der beim Uebertritt in den gasförmigen Zustand erzeugten Kälte und damit eine Verzögerung in. der weiteren Umsetzung in Gasform vermieden wird. Obgleich diese Einrichtung zur Aufstellung in Schiffsräumen, d. h. also unter vortheilhafter Raumausnutzung construirt worden ist, so kann sie ebenso gut in Lagerräumen, Docks u. s. w.
