Die Neuerung bezweckt, bei Dampfkesseln den Dampfraum vom Wasserraum zu trennen, um das störende Mitreifsen von Wasser durch den Dampf zu vermeiden. Zu diesem Zwecke wird der konisch geformte Oberkessel A, welcher an seinem engeren Ende mit der Wasserkammer B vernietet ist, durch zwei horizontale Scheidewände O und P in drei Räume getheilt, von welchen der obere den Dampfraum bildet. Die Wasserkammer B ist durch die Scheidewand C in zwei völlig von einander abgeschiedene Räume -B' und B" getheilt und durch die Wand L von dem Oberkessel A getrennt. Die Verbindung zwischen dem Öberkessel und der Wasserkammer wird durch ein weites Rohr N hergestellt, an dessen Stelle auch mehrere engere Rohre angeordnet werden können.
