verschiedenen festen Kontaktsegmenten bewirkt.
Rotationssymme-
trisch um i sind die WechselstromschenkeI 3
bis 8 angeordnet. die auf ihrem oberen Ende
je einen Polschub tragen. Der zentrale Mittel-
pol i trägt am oberen Ende, ebenfalls rota-
tionssymmetrisch angeordnet, Arme 9 his 1d.,
die zwischen die Polschuhe 3 bis 8 greifen.
Auf dem Mittelpol i ist ein Kontaktring 1;
mit einer Stromzuführung 16 isoliert befestigt.
Auf den Magnetschenkeln 3 bis 8, die durch
Wechselstromspulen 1; bis 22 nach Art eines
mehrphasigen Drehfeldes erregt werden,
sitzen isoliert angeordnete Kontaktsegmente
23, 24 und -2j. Diese ergänzen sich mit von
ihnen isolierten Zwischenstücken 26, 2; und 28
zu einem Kreisring, auf welchem eine Kon-
taktscheibe 29, die die Form eines Kegel-
stumpfes von fast i8o° Öffnung aufweist,
eine abwälzende Bewegung ausführt. Diese
Kontaktscheibe trägt auf ihrer Unterseite
zwischen den Kontaktringen 30 und 31 einen
ringförmigen -Magnetanker 32. Dieser ist nach
Art -ines Ringhandkernes, wie er Leispiels-

magnetischem Band aufgewickelt und mittels
Winkelringe an der Scheibe 29 befestigt. Die
Höhe der Kontaktringe 23, 2d tnid 23 ist
derart gewählt, daß bei fester Berührung der
Kontaktringe mit ihren Kontaktauflagen der
Anker 32 gerade noch nicht zur Berührung
mit den darunterliegenden Polschuhen kommt.
Betrachtet man den Augenblick, in dein

Dementsprechend «wird der Anker 32 auf die

These devices are characterized by the fact that they do not have any sliding bearing plates that require lubrication or that roll on one another at high speed, and that they do so without. Maintenance guarantee the highest level of operational safety. One difficulty with these devices, which is particularly noticeable at higher powers, is that on the one hand, with a given contact pressure, the dimensions of the tumbling or circling armature must be kept very small, taking into account bruises, noise generation and inertial forces, and on the other hand, the magnetic field through Eddy currents heated the armature and the pole pieces. Both difficulties place narrow limits on the arrangement of the arrangements proposed so far. The invention solves this difficulty
elimination; and there will be a few more
further -Torteile achieved. The invention exists

The contact device described is also particularly suitable for machine converters
and converters that work with resistance commutation. This can be done, for example
be realized that the intermediate pieces 26, 27, 28 do not consist of insulation,
but a certain conductivity that increases or decreases very sharply in the direction of the circumference

Commutate resistance. To reduce the losses in these resistances,
you can at the same time the above-mentioned relief means for the contacts, namely

To achieve greater closing and separating speed, the
Segments 23 to 28 can be arranged elastically on their base. To make things easier

In order to replace damaged contact rings 3o or Köntäkts, segments 23 to 28 as quickly as possible, an expediently easily detachable holder is to be provided. The device described is particularly suitable for multi-pole b: zw. multi-pole devices in which the rotating field frequency is a multiple of the movement frequency of the armature. In such cases, the diameter of the contact disk 30 can be large, e.g. B. im or more; assume and the device will be suitable for maximum performance, in particular it can be assembled directly with a generator, so that it replaces the collectors that have been customary up to now.
durch bekannte Mittel, wie verdrehen..Under certain circumstances, you will be able to control very large currents
artificial cooling, e.g. B. provided by liquid on the fixed contact pieces.
Also cooled, especially liquid-cooled windings for the excitation coils
can be useful to the changing room and thus the dimensions of the device
to keep it small. The voltage regulation can be done in that the base
for the contact segments 23 to 28 is rotated relative to the magnet system. at
