Transformer adjustable by AC auxiliary windings There are
Control transformers known, which consist of two single-phase transformers with in series
connected primary windings and series-connected secondary windings exist.
Each single-phase transformer has an AC auxiliary winding. These AC auxiliary windings
are more or less short-circuited by resistors such that the magnetic
Main flow of one transformer weakened, that of the other transformer on the other hand
is reinforced. The excitation or primary windings are arranged so that the through
these windings generated flux in the flux generated by the secondary winding
rectified in one magnetic circuit and opposed in the other
is. The secondary voltage of such a transformer is of one. positive
Value adjustable up to an equally large negative value.
The invention takes a different approach and thereby enables a considerable amount
Simplification. The transformer according to the
Invention does exist
also made up of two single-phase transformers with primary windings connected in series
and secondary windings connected in series. Here, too, there are AC auxiliary windings for regulation
intended. According to the invention, however, the two single-phase transformers iron
a different gear ratio. Furthermore, the primary and
Secondary windings in the same direction in series, and two controllable via a resistor
Auxiliary windings or one common for both transformer cores via a resistor
adjustable auxiliary windings enclose two legs with opposite main flow directions.
As a result of this arrangement, there is one thing in every transformer: Imbalance
of the ampere turns, as a result of which one and: r are opposite in the two transformer cores
form directed stray fluxes that are superimposed on the main fluxes. The consequence of this
are secondary voltage drops that: subtract from the secondary voltage.
There are now two legs with opposite main flow directions and more in the same direction
If the direction of leakage flux is enclosed by the auxiliary winding or windings, the leakage flux
and thus the secondary voltage to a greater or lesser extent, its level
depends essentially on the degree of the different gear ratio,
can be regulated with the help of the resistor. This resistance can be an inductive,
capacitive or a combination of reactive and active resistance. Used
if a capacitive resistance is used, the secondary voltage drops are dragged out
do not depend on the secondary voltage, but add to it. In this way
the secondary voltage as well as by applying an alternating current source
also increase to the auxiliary winding circuit.
in Reihe geschalteten primären Wicklungen I-I'1, bf'i und den gleichsinnig in Reihe
geschalteten sekundären Wicklungen bfJ2, lf@` ist eine Weehselstromhilfswicklung
If'3 je Kern vorgesehen.
The invention is explained with reference to the drawing. In Figs. I to 3, the two single-phase cores are marked with a. and b denotes. In addition to the primary windings I-I'1, bf'i connected in series in the same direction and the secondary windings bfJ2, lf @ `connected in the same direction, an alternating current auxiliary winding If'3 is provided for each core. These auxiliary windings can also be combined to form a common one as shown in Fig. 2 and 3. The main windings I @ Tl, fF2 have a larger gear ratio than the main windings Ti ',', 1V2. A controllable resistor R is switched on in the circuit of the auxiliary windings or the auxiliary winding. Instead of the resistor, a controllable alternating current source D can also be used, as can be seen from Fig. 3. The mode of operation is as follows: When the transformer is loaded, there is an excess of the primary in the transformer core a and an excess of the transformer core b> `: 'b; secondary ampere turns. The flows corresponding to these unbalanced ampere-turns are denoted by O ;; and Vü denotes. They overlap the main flows and cause high secondary voltage drops, which are subtracted from the secondary voltage.
If the auxiliary windings are now open, the leakage fluxes are fully effective
and the voltage minimum occurs on the secondary side. When closing the auxiliary windings
The flows $ ü and Vü decrease via the rheostat R. When regulating grows
then the secondary voltage up to the full intended value. This corresponds to
the short circuit of the windings (or winding) W3; the control range extends
so between the full effect of the unbalanced ampere turns and theirs
complete compensation.
Eine Dreiphasenausführung zeigt Abb. 4. Hier sind je drei Einphasentransformatoren

sich etwa die Abb. i um go° in der Ebene gedreht zu denken. Jeder Einphasenkern
bezeichnet.A three-phase design is shown in Fig. 4. Here, three single-phase transformers with the same winding are combined to form a three-limb transformer. For this one has to think of Fig. I rotated by go ° in the plane. Each single-phase core in Fig. I is replaced by one leg of the three-legged core. The primary windings are designated with P, the secondary windings with S and the auxiliary windings with St.
