Description

PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.

ι KLASSE 37 Ä Hochbauwesen. ι CLASS 37 Ä Building construction.

JOHANN SCHECK in ZÜRICH. Falzbaustein. JOHANN SCHECK in ZURICH. Folding block.

ιBy means of the folded building blocks forming the subject of the present invention, one achieves both a significant saving in mortar, since it is no longer necessary to coat entire surfaces of the stone, but only the seams with mortar, as well as a reliable airtight seal of the wall. A building made of such folded blocks can be moved into immediately after completion, provided that dry artificial stones have been used, which of course must be the case. Building with such folded building blocks, which can be solid or hollow, is quick and easy. Plastering is not necessary outside or inside. ι

The folding block, which is preferably an artificial stone made of clay, cement, gypsum, Lime, slag, etc., has one or more folds on its walling surfaces, which are partly full, d. H. are raised and partly hollow. When joining of the stones come a full fold of one stone in the hollow fold of the one next to it - respectively. underlying stone. Through the interlocking of full and hollow rebates the blocks receive their exact position and direction. To ensure a safe air seal to achieve, the hollow fold with a binder, such as. B. Cement, Gyps, Theer and the like. Provided which binder on its own when attaching two hollow folds or as an intermediate layer between full and The air seal is achieved by the hollow fold. So you no longer have all the areas to coat the stones with binding material, but only the hollow folds, from which a results in quite considerable material savings.

In the accompanying drawing, some versions of the folding modules are given as examples, namely show:

Fig. 13 zeigt einige zu einer Mauer zusammengefügte Falzbausteine im Grund-The folding block Fig. 1, 2 and 16 has a hollow fold a at the top and on both sides and a full fold b of semicircular cross-section at the bottom. When folding module Fig. 3 and 4, only the upper and the left side fold are hollow, while the lower and the right side fold fully BEZW. are sublime. In Fig. 5 'a folding module with two and in Fig. 6 one with the folds α α a 1 is shown, in which latter case the middle fold a l lying between the two edge folds α α is the directional fold for the exact position of the Stone is. Fig. 13 shows some folding blocks assembled to form a wall in the basic

Fig. 15).
rifs and FIG. 14 a folding block, the upper surface of which is provided with a hollow fold a 2. The full fold has a slightly smaller cross section than the hollow fold (see Fig. 15). If the hollow fold α is partly filled with binding material and the corresponding full fold b is inserted, the latter will displace part of the binding material. But there is at least enough space in the hollow fold so that the displaced binding agent can remain in it and does not have to push itself between the stones, which are supposed to sit smoothly on top of one another. If two hollow side folds come together in stones of the design shown in FIGS. 1 and 16, the cavity thus formed is filled with binding material,
formation of folding blocks

When using provisional or temporary structures will be used instead of the binding material a non-binding material, e.g. B. sand, sawdust, wood wool, etc., placed in the hollow folds so that the stones can be easily removed again.
