in Rohr- bzw. Plattenform erzeugen läßt.Process for the production of one-story, through partition walls in chambers
subdivided fittings made of fiber cement or the like. The production of one-story,
Fibers made of fiber cement or the like divided by partitions in chambers.
causes considerable difficulties, since if one is not of the unsuitable
The fiber cement industry wants to use casting methods, fiber cement only
can be produced in tube or plate form.
According to the invention are single-story, by partition walls in chambers
subdivided fittings made of fiber cement in such a way that the angular
bent ends at their edges of split fiber cement cardboard serving as partition walls
in the uncured state with the one which also consists of uncured fiber cement
The outer wall of the fitting can be welded under pressure.
The method is particularly suitable for producing multi-chambered

Parts of the fiber cement boards forming the partition walls between the shape of the
Cores defining chambers of the molded piece are arranged, followed by a die

is wrapped
and after welding the outer wall to the angled

In the drawing, the method according to the invention is shown in two exemplary embodiments,
applied to the manufacture of multi-chamber duct pieces, illustrates
namely, in the case of FIG
2 shows the manufacture of a two-chamber channel piece.
To produce the three-chamber channel piece shown in FIG. The split edge parts ia and ib of the fiber cement board i and the split edge parts -2a and 2b of the fiber cement board 2 are bent laterally. Then the fiber cement boards i and 2 are placed with their unsplit parts between cores 3, 4, 5, which correspond to the shape of the chambers of the channel piece to be produced. Then a flat, untied fiber cement board 6 is wrapped around the cores 3, 4, 5. Depending on the desired wall thickness of the duct piece to be produced, the cardboard 6 is wrapped around in one or more layers. The innermost layer rests firmly on the angularly bent edge parts ia, ib and? A 2b of the cardboards i and 2 forming the partition walls, whereupon the outer wall 6 of the duct section with the bent edge parts yes, using pressure, for example by means of a pneumatic hammer , rbund 2a, 2b is welded. Since these edge parts and the outer walls are still in the untied state, these parts connect so closely with one another that a one-piece is created. It is particularly advantageous that the cores 3, 4, 5 serve as an abutment when the welding pressure is exerted on the wall of the channel piece from the outside and the connection of the parts takes place over a relatively large area. After welding, the cores 3, 4, 5 are pulled out of the channel piece, which is now allowed to set and harden. In the manufacture of two-chamber channel pieces, as illustrated in FIG. 2, the procedure is that an unbound fiber cement board is split open at one of its longitudinal edges and the split parts, as shown at 7, are bent at an angle. The fiber cement cardboard is then placed with the part lying immediately behind the bent ends 7 between the cores a, 9 and the cardboard is then wound around the cores, as shown. After the outer wall has been welded to the tied ends 7 under pressure, the cores 8, 9 are pulled out of your channel piece and this is caused to set and harden.
