liegen.Earth fault protection or earth fault display device -for electrical

Equipment is usually supplemented by a summation current transformer inserted in the line,
which is also connected to one winding of the relay. To operational safety
high demands are placed on the relay device. It is required that
the relay device not only switches off the network from a minimum current, but
also, without suffering damage, is able to withstand more powerful earth fault currents which
exceed the minimum current several times. To protect the relay equipment
and at the same time to increase their sensitivity, artificial circuits are given

Wegen der je nach dem Erdschlußstrom auf-
tretenden starken Spannungsunterschiede und
zur Erzielung einer hohen Regelempfindlich-

daijgestellte Ausführungsform als überlegen
erwiesen. Sofern es erwünscht ist, können
parallel zum Schnellregler zusätzliche Wider-

zugeführten Leistung zu regeln hat. Dement-
Furthermore, one has to protect the relay and increase the response range sclic, n propose, non-linear tZ'ider-

In other words, it is also possible to design the high-speed regulator as a variable resistor and to supply the control voltage to its excitation coil with the aid of a fixed resistor connected in series with it. The protective device can also be connected to an artificial zero point if the actual zero points are inaccessible or if the network or the generator is connected in delta. Corresponding arrangements with rapid regulators can be carried out for both single-phase and multi-phase networks.
Einrichtungen also im wesentlichen folgende Vorteile: Der Regelbereich, innerhalb
The device corresponding to the invention has compared to the known
Facilities so essentially the following advantages: The control range, within
whose constant voltage is fed to the earth fault relay 4. is essential
greater than when using the known temperature-dependent resistors. Through this
it is possible with the device according to the invention, the sensitivity substantially
to increase, so that system parts lying closer to the zero point are still protected
can. The device is also simpler than the known and with in
the means of heavy current technology tried and tested, practically no wear and tear
are subject. The response time of the protection is only a fraction of
Seconds. Furthermore, in the regulation of the voltages supplied to the protective relay
and currents curve distortion and undesired phase shifts avoided.
