Description
There are already known detergents for the skin that are used without soap and water can be. Such skin cleaning agents are applied to the area to be cleaned, rubbed in and afterwards Cleaning wiped.
All skin cleansing agents known so far contain soap or fat. Your use therefore represents a considerable burden on the soap and fat supply. Above in addition, they are not without adverse effects. The skin remains, especially when these skin cleansers are used as intended without soap and water, greasy; it is irritated by these so-called dry cleaning agents and on the Duration damaged.
The new skin cleanser can also be used without soap and water, but is free of soap and grease and does not have the disadvantages described. It consists in mainly from higher alcohols and their esters, from soap- and fat-free wetting agents, from glycerine, its substitutes, disinfectants and, if necessary, emulsifiers, Preservatives and fragrances.
Besonders geeignet sind Salze 4aAs one of the bases of the new skin cleanser are preferred Waxes or wax alcohols are used. In particular, higher fatty alcohols, such as Cetyl, myricyl, stearine or palmitine alcohol! Palmitic or stearic acid, furthermore natural or synthetic waxes, e.g. B. beeswax, but in particular synthetic whale rat can be used. As another essential A fat-free or soap-free wetting agent is part of the skin cleansing agent use. Salts 4a are particularly suitable
B. isopropylnaphthalenesulfonic acid Sodium, sulfonated fatty alcohols and condensation products of fatty acids with oxy or amino groups containing sulfonic acids, e.g. B. Condensation products of oleic acid with isethionic acid, Taurine or methyl taurine or their mixtures. These basic components of the new skin cleansers can still
Auch sind kosmetische Zubereitungen beschrieben, die Glycerin enthalten.ίο glycerine or its substitutes, e.g. B. glycol, and disinfectants known per se, such as formaldehyde, carbolic acid or thymol, can be added. Finally, emulsifiers, preservatives and fragrances known per se can also be used. The individual components of the cleaning agent according to the invention have already been used for cosmetic purposes. In particular, it is known to use waxes, albeit at least in partially saponified form, and wax alcohols in cosmetics. Thus, it is known ^, a Massagekrem using wax, such as beeswax and spermaceti manufacture, wherein the waxes with borax to 70 0 to be heated. This heating must be done in such a way as to avoid foaming and boiling over of the solution. It can be assumed with certainty that when the waxes are heated with borax, soap is at least partially produced, which is why the end product is also referred to as a cream, i.e. an emulsion which can only be formed if part of the wax is saponified first. It is also known to produce an ointment base from beeswax and borax with the addition of colognes and volatile essential oils. Here too, the beeswax must be saponified, otherwise no emulsion would be formed. Finally, in another proposal for the production of a cleaning agent, wax is used as a component. As can be seen from the entire content of the first proposal, it is understood to mean paraffin (earth wax), i.e. a mixture of higher hydrocarbons. In contrast, in the present scientifically recognized manner, waxes mean higher alcohols or their esters. It is also known to use wetting agents as soap substitutes. Cosmetic preparations that contain glycerol are also described.
In contrast to these known proposals, the skin cleansing agent according to the invention contains a new combination of ingredients already proposed per se for cosmetic purposes. It must be emphasized that neither the waxes or waxy alcohols nor the wetting agents on their own are suitable for exerting the desired cleaning effect on the skin. The wetting agents they would have a certain cleaning effect, but at the same time they would be sticky and degrease the skin too much and rough. The waxes or waxy fatty alcohols and the other ingredients have absolutely no cleaning effect worth mentioning.
The new skin cleansers can be produced in various ways. For example, one proceeds in such a way that wax or wax alcohol is melted and introduced into a hot mixture of water, glycerine or glycerine substitute and optionally preservatives and emulsifiers. The temperature of this mixture depends on the wax or wax alcohol to be used; it is generally between 60 and 90 0. the mixture is stirred cold for about 40 to 0 and then the mixture added to the surfactant. Then, operation continues until cold, and there will be a disinfectant and optionally odorants added.
In this way, a more or less creamy paste is obtained which can be used without further ado is. It shows a very high cleaning effect; due to the content of disinfectants it still has an antiseptic, even disinfecting effect and can therefore can also be used to treat diseased skin. The new skin cleanser is primarily intended to be used without soap and water. But it can also be used with water instead of beiie be used.
7 parts of a mixture of palmitic and stearic alcohol and 7 parts of synthetic whale rat are melted and at 70 0 in a mixture of 4 parts of an approximately 40% glycerine-containing mixture of divalent sugars and 76.2 parts of water with the addition of 0.2 parts of propyl oxybenzoate Stir in the existing mixture with preservatives. The mixture is stirred cold to 40 0 and then 5 parts of sodium isopropylnaphthalinsulfonsaures added, followed by further »» is stirred. After it has cooled completely, 0.6 part of formaldehyde and 0.3 to 0.4 part of a fragrance combination are added.
