Description
Such dyes are e.g. B. the following: 2, 2'-bisoxythionaphthene indigo, 4, 4'-dimethyl-2, 2'-bisoxythionaphthene indigo, 4, 4'-dimethyl-6, 6'-dichloro-2, 2'-bisoxythionaphthene indigo, 6, 6'-dichloro-2, 2 'bisoxythionaphthenin, digo, 6, 6'-diethoxy-2, 2'-bisoxythionaphthenindigo, 4-methyl-6-chloro-6'-methoxy-2, 2'-bisoxythionaphthenindigo, 4, 4'-dimethyl-5, 7, 5 ', 7'-tetrachlor-2, 2'-bisoxythionaphthene indigo, 5, 5'-dichloro-7, 7'-dimethyl-2, 2'-bisoxythionaphthenindigo, 2, 1,2 ', I'-bisnaphthoxythiophenindigo, 2, I, I', 2'-bisnaphthoxythiophenindigo, I, 2, I ', 2'-Bisnaphthoxythiophenindigo, I-Benzoylaminoanthraquinone, I, 5-Dibenzoylaminoanthraquinone, I, 4-dibenzoylaminoanthraquinone, I, 8-dibenzoylaminoanthraquinone, I, 2, 3-tribenzoyltriaminoanthraquinone, Terephthaloyl-I, I'-diaminodianthraquinone, isotherephthaloyl-I, I'-diaminodianthraquinone, 3, 4, 8, 9-dibenzpyrene-5, io-quinone and halogen derivatives, I, 2, 7, 8-diphthaloylcarbazole, I (N), 2, 5 (N) 6-anthraquinone dibenzothiazole, dye from 2-anthraquinone aldehyde and benzidine with subsequent sulphurisation, dye from 2-anthraquinone aldehyde and I, 4-diaminobenzene with subsequent sulphurization, I, 2'-dianthraquinonylamine and halogen derivatives, dye obtained by dehydration of 2,2'-dimethyl-i, i'-danthraquinonyl, and halogen derivatives.
Since these dyes also have valuable properties, so there is technical interest in finding a means to reduce the fiber-damaging properties to turn off these dyes.
It has now been found that fiber damage when using such Dyes does not occur or occurs to a much lesser extent if the dyed fiber is aftertreated with baths containing sulfamide, skin fabric or thiourea included, and dries.
For the aftertreatment of dyeings with dithioalkylthioindigo dyes Copper and iron salts have already been proposed on vegetable fibers, to protect the fibers against the harmful effects of light. Comparative trials have shown that by using the above acid amides a much better Protection of the fibers dyed with vat dyes against damage caused by exposure to light is achieved. Examples I. Cotton is dyed with 6,6'-diethoxybisoxythionaphthene indigo colored. The dyed goods are treated with a bath containing 2% urea at 2o Treated to 40 ° C and dried. If the color is exposed, it shows after half a year that the untreated dyed goods are completely rotten has become, while the strength of the aftertreated dyed material remains unchanged stayed.
Copper rayon is dyed with dye I, 2, 7, 8-diphthaloylcarbazole. The dyed goods are half a bath with a bath containing 2% thiourea Aftertreated and dried at 2o to 4o ° C for an hour. Will the dyed goods in comparison exposed to the untreated six weeks and then the tear strength determined, it can be seen that the non-aftertreated dyed goods by about 80% has lost its original tear strength, while the post-treated dyed one Goods only shows a strength reduced by about 100%.
Viscose cellulose is with the dye I, 5-dibenzoylaminoanthraquinone colored. The dyed goods are treated with a bath containing 2% sulfamide (N H2 S 02 N H2) contains, treated for half an hour at 2o to 4o ° C and dried. Will the stained If the goods were exposed for 6 weeks and the tear resistance was tested, it was found that this was not the case post-treated dyed goods show a loss of strength of about 6o%, while that of the aftertreated material to be dyed is only about 15%.
