Die vorliegende Platzpatrone ist durch die Anordnung einer besonderen Pulverkammer c² (s. die beiliegende Zeichnung) und durch die Verbindung dieser Pulverkammer mit dem Patronenmantel A und dem Patronenboden B gekennzeichnet. Wie die Figur erkennen läfst, ist die aus beliebigem Material hergestellte kleine Pulverkapsel c² vom hinteren Ende des Patronenmantels A in diesen letzteren eingeführt und hiernach über A ein aus Metall bestehender Verstärkungsring b geschoben. Sowohl die Hülse c², als auch der Mantel A und der Ring b verlaufen bei ihrem Zusammensetzen cylindrisch oder in geringem Grade konisch. Nachdem in die Kapsel c² ein hinter der Krempe C mit einer rundherum gehenden Nuth c¹ versehener Patronenboden eingesetzt wurde, werden durch äufseren Druck gegen das hintere Ende von b der betreifende Theil des Mantels A und der Pulverkapsel c² in die Nuth c¹ fest eingewalzt, so dafs das explodirende Pulver den Boden nicht von dem Patronenmantel A zu lösen vermag.The present blank cartridge is characterized by the arrangement of a special powder chamber c ² (see the accompanying drawing) and by the connection of this powder chamber with the cartridge casing A and the cartridge base B. ι. Blank cartridge with special powder capsule (c ' ² J, in which both the case jacket (A) and the jacket of the powder capsule (c ² ) are pushed over a groove (c ^l ) in the cartridge base (B) and pressed onto it.

2. An embodiment of the cartridge identified under 1., in which the front bottom of the powder capsule (c ¹ ) is provided with radial grooves of such a depth that the capsule only rips open in these grooves when the powder charge explodes, thereby loosening individual pieces from the capsule and the flying out of the same through the gun barrel is avoided.
