Prennkraftmaschine with compression ignition or spark ignition Bmennkraftmaschinen
with self-ignition, in which the compression pressure is used to inject fuel into the
Cubic capacity is injected, are known per se- In one of these machines is
provided in two straight channels interconnected by transverse channels during
of the compression stroke to generate compressed air and thereby fuel from eüiem on
upper. The end of the fuel channel located in one channel is to be lifted out and
@to inject into the cubic capacity. Compressed air is created in these channels4, but it does
is the same, so that no air flow and therefore no fuel conveying
takes place, the compressed air rather pushes the fuel into the. Fuel channel
in instead of out. In addition, the ducts are an obstacle to a rapid air flow.
Another embodiment provides for only one stroke during the compression stroke
Part, the fuel injection meter, the size of which depends on the channel width:
into a known chamber connected to the stroke rate by a narrow channel
inject, from which after the ignition of the fuel part as a result of .des
: created over: an air stream is pressed through the connecting duct,
through which then the second part of the fuel injection quantity, but in the opposite direction
Direction from which the fuel channel is conveyed and injected into the displacement.
At the impact of the fuel-air mixture flowing into the chamber at high speed
its speed is destroyed on the chamber walls, @it is a new acceleration
necessary. The Varkammer is a noxious space, there is only an opening in it,
so that combustion residues can remain in it. The fuel flow in the
narrow fuel channel in two opposite directions is cumbersome. that
Ducts can easily become clogged. After the machine has come to a standstill, you can still
Flow fuel out of the fuel channel.
an
er such entzündet.
The present invention now consists in an internal combustion engine
with spontaneous or external ignition in that in an arcuate,
at
two places in the cylinder opening into the ignition channel with funnel-shaped extensions,
the during the compression stroke with the same. Speed of incoming compressed air
picks up, at the end of the compression stroke a suitable B.rennstoffein Injektm@enge
from the compression pressure at a suitable time from a controlled, partially
to a chamber expanded fuel injection channel in the @ increased speed
Air flow penetrating into the ignition channel is pressed and. is atomized so that
he looks inflamed. The resulting overpressure then results in the
Lack of air not burned, most of the fuel from the ignition channel
injected out into the cubic capacity and at the same time shifting the piston
burned. The fuel and the mixture always flow in the same direction
.through the fuel injection and ignition channels. A leak of fuel
when the machine is at a standstill is due to the outflow point above the chamber
of the fuel injection channel not possible. lich. The fuel injection amount and
the injection timing is controlled by a control operated by the compression pressure
as well as controllable by flow resistances. The ignition channel is always flushed out well,
so that there are no waste residues that degrade the efficiency of the machine.
Erfindung dargestellt. In the accompanying drawing is an embodiment according to
Invention shown.
ausgehender, ventilgesteuerter Brennstoffzuleitungskanal ;.The compression chamber in cylinder i is located between the piston
3 and the cylinder head 2. In the latter there is an arcuate ignition channel i o,
12 arranged, the at the confluence of the fuel injection channel 9 and at the
Muzzle has 12 constrictions. In the ignition channel are funnel-shaped, one behind the other
arranged expansions connected to one another by narrow openings as required
attached so that an ignitable mixture can arise in it. The extensions
are with flow-inhibiting, beginning at the channel mouth 12 flow resistances
Mistake. In addition to the resistances shown, other resistances than
Counterflow channels formed resistances be attached in such a way that
the compressed air emanating from the Huhraum counteracts that flowing into the channel mouth 12.
In addition to the ignition channel, there is one from the compression pressure and one in the cylinder head
or several counter-pressure springs controllable, partially expanded to form a chamber 8
Fuel injection channel i i, 9 arranged above the chamber in the ignition channel
joins. A fuel container (not shown) leads into the chamber
outgoing, valve-controlled fuel supply duct;.
In an internal combustion engine according to the invention, fuel is sucked in through the duct 17 into the chamber 8 during the intake stroke; a small overpressure in the fuel container can be of assistance here. During the compression stroke that now follows, air is initially pressed and towards the end of the same due to the air pressure on the control of the fuel injection duct ii fuel , regulated according to quantity and time, is pressed out of the chamber 8 into the ignition duct, --- o it is atomized and mixed with air, so that it ignites. The compressed air flowing into the mouth 12 during the compression stroke is held back by resistors, which enables the fuel to flow unhindered into the ignition channel. As a result of the lack of air, only a little fuel burns at first, most of the fuel, including the burning, due to the overpressure resulting from the ignition, is injected through the opening 12 out of the ignition duct into the displacement air and burned at the same time as the piston is displaced. The fuel regulation is achieved by a corresponding dimensioning of the fuel injection channel and the air resistance on the control as well as the fuel resistance. The slower the compression takes place, the more time the compressed air has to overcome the flow resistance at the control and the fluid resistance, so that its driving force remains the same up to the desired number of revolutions of the machine. With a further increase in the rotational speed, the compressed air lacks the necessary time to inject the full amount of fuel; the fuel is also ignited at a high rotational speed, measured on the crankshaft, correspondingly later, so that a further increase in the rotational speed and excessive fuel consumption low load and when the machine is idling is prevented. The control springs can also be adjusted from the outside, so that :; the size of the control afterwards. opening and the opening time and thus the machine performance can be influenced. During the exhaust stroke, the combustion residues are removed from the cubic capacity and the ignition duct. If the internal combustion engine is operated in a two-stroke cycle, the individual ignition processes follow one another more rapidly. The ignition channel 1: can, if necessary, be connected to an electrically heated glow plug or preheated by another heat supply line.
