Verfahren zum Waschen und Netzen Es wurde gefunden, daß sich bei den
schon an sich teilweise hoch waschwirksamen Sulfonierungsprodukten bzw. sulfonierten
Kondensationsprodukten von höheren Fett- und Wachsalkoholen durch Zusatz von wasserlöslichen,
neutral reagierenden anorganischen Alkalisalzen in Mengen von mindestens goo/o,
bezogen auf die Mischung von Sulfonat und Neutralsalz, eine bedeutende Steigerung
des Waschvermögens erreichen läßt. Hierbei soll die Konzentration der Flotte an
Neutralsalz mindestens 4 g je Liter betragen. Wenn man bedenkt, daß das Waschvermögen
eine Summe von verschiedenen Eigenschaften chemischer, physikalischer und kolloidchemischer
Natur darstellt, die restlos bisher noch nicht geklärt sind, und wenn man weiß,
daß bei den vorgenannten Produkten auf Fettalkoholbasis das Waschvermögen zu einer
sehr großen Höhe entwickelt wurde, so war es nicht vorauszusehen, daß durch Zusatz
der sehr wohlfeilen anorganischen Metallsalze überhaupt noch eine Steigerung des
Wasch- und auch Netzvermögens erreicht werden konnte. Besonders mußte es überraschen,
daß die Verbesserung der Eigenschaften der Produkte auf Fettalkoholbasis durch den
Zusatz der Neutralsalze in einem so großen Ausmaß erreicht werden konnte. Besonders
vorteilhaft macht sich das gesteigerte Waschvermögen in der Wollwäscherei bemerkbar,
doch ist hervorzuheben, daß auch jedes andere verunreinigte Textilgut gewaschen

eine Molekülvergrößerung der Fettalkoholsulfonate vorgenommen worden ist. Als zu
kondensierende Stoffe kommen die verschiedensten Stoffe in Frage, z. B,. aliphatische,
aromatische, hydroaromatische und heterocyclische Kohlenwasserstoffe sowie deren
Derivate, ferner Alkohole, Phenole, Ketone, Carbonsäuren sowie deren Anhydride und
Chloride. Als wasserlösliche, neutral reagierende anorganische Alkalisalze kommen
in Frage Natriumchlorid, Natriumsulfat, Kaliumchlorid,
Ammoniumsulfat
usw. sowie deren Mischungen. Die Präparate des vorliegenden Verfahrens kann man
für sich herstellen und als solche der Behandlungsflotte zusetzen. Man kann aber
auch die einzelnen Komponenten in entsprechender Menge den Bädern getrennt-zufügen.
Es ist nur darauf zu achten, daß die Konzentration der Flotte an Neutralsalz mindestens

das Natriumsalz eines Sulfonats verwendet, das aus Oleinalkohol durch Sulfonierung
mit 2oo'oigem Oleum hergestellt und auf einen Fettalkoholgehalt von 3ooi'o eingestellt
wurde. Das Produkt wird im folgenden mit A bezeichnet. Es ergaben sich folgende

Aus der britischen Patentschrift 352 989
ist es bekannt, Fettalkoholsulfonate
zusammen mit anorganischen Neutralsalzen als Waschmittel zuverwenden, wobei die
wasserlöslichen Neutralsalze in einer Menge von 50`o des Fettalkoholsulfonats bis
zu etwa dem 5fachen Gewicht des Sulfonats zur Anwendung gelangen sollen. Diesen
Produkten gegenüber zeichnen sich die bei dem vorliegenden Verfahren verwendeten
Mischungen durch eine erhöhte Wirksamkeit aus. Nach den Angaben der französischen
Patentschrift 624oio hat man Mischungen aus den Salzen alkylierter Naphthalinsulfonsäuren
und löslichen anorganischen Neutralsalzen, und zwar nach den Beispielen 15 bis 250`o
Salz vom Gesamtgemisch, zur Erhöhung des Netzvermögens angewandt. Nach vorliegendem
Verfahren erzielt man eine bedeutend bessere Wirkung, wie sich aus folgenden Vergleichsversuchen
