Description
Photoelement).SLR camera with built-in electric light meter The invention relates to a built-in electric photographic camera Light meter, its light-sensitive cell when exposed without auxiliary voltage supplies a current (so-called photo element).
It has already been proposed to bring light-sensitive cells directly in front of the image plane or behind the lens of a photographic camera in the rays - on the lens in order to be able to determine the correct exposure time with the aid of a measuring device connected to this cell. This has the advantage over the exposure meters that are separate from the camera that the aperture position as well as the absorption of the lens and any additional filters are automatically included in the measurement, so that conversion tables are saved and mistakes are avoided. Since it would of course be technically inexpedient to give the cell the largest size of the entire field of view, it has already been proposed earlier to arrange a small photo element in the vicinity behind the lens so that it can be moved in such a way that this photo element absorbs almost the entire luminous flux passing through the lens if it is temporarily placed in the beam span for measurement (patent 678 417) - D arrangements of the type described can of course also be built into mirror reflex cameras, but have the disadvantage that their use entails a temporary The fade-out of the screen image during the light measurement interferes with the adaptation of the eye to the brightness of the screen image and is therefore perceived as very unpleasant. Attempts have therefore already been made in SLR cameras to arrange the photo element behind the viewing mirror and to provide this with openings in the manner of a grid, which allow part of the incident light to reach the photo element. Here, however, a very large photo element is required and easily a distortion of the focusing screen image, but in any case a reduction in its sharpness or the formation of interference color fringes in the focusing screen image ;; so that this method could not prevail in practice either.
These disadvantages are eliminated according to the invention by that one (read in a zone of high uncertainty behind (no objective arranged Photo equipment tn with cutouts, which a sufficiently large luminous flux Allow it to pass through to ensure sufficient exposure even during the exposure measurement Illumination of the wheel to ;; ensure. The relevant sections are appropriately attached to the edge of the photo element. thus the proportional Reaction of the aperture setting on the luminous flux hitting the photo element preserved.
It has already been pointed out in patent 673 417 that the bundling of light behind the lens leads to a particularly favorable photoelectric yield in the case of photo elements and that therefore the attachment of the cell directly behind the lens leads to particularly ridiculous photo currents. Experiments have now shown that, with newer photo elements, about half of the luminous flux emitted by the lens can be guided past the photo element without hesitation, without having to use more sensitive reading instruments than have been customary up to now. The use of the sections described does not result in any disadvantage in terms of measurement technology within the scope of the combination according to the invention. Also optically and physiologically there are no disadvantages if the pliotoclement is arranged in the specified manner in a zone of high uncertainty; because then there is no recognizable shadow image of the photo element on the focusing screen, while changes in the brightness of the focusing screen image in an approximate ratio of i: 2 do not yet influence the accommodation of the human eye in any tiring way. Rather, the invention achieves a considerable reduction in symptoms of fatigue.
Fig. I shows various embodiments for photo elements with suitably attached cutouts. After Alb. In general, the photo element Pl according to Art the well-known Telefunken photo cell simply equipped with a central hole B, through which a part of the light coming from the lens O falls through. When using For such a small photo, however, the aperture position is no longer precise and local into the measurement, so that the measuring instrument connected to the cell, if necessary finitely equipped with a correction table to take into account the aperture position become iiitill. Preferably, therefore -einä ß Fig. Ib the sections A of the Photo element P., moved to the edge or it becomes the shape of the photo element of a cross, a star or the one in Alb. 1c is shown l 's betteben. . \ ut this one way succeeds in achieving a one. "- and-free. automatic consideration to achieve the aperture position.
If the photo element is in the beam path, the focusing screen becomes about half of the luminous flux is fed to the mirror camera, as in the case of ars-eschiv, nkteni Photo element. This amount of light -necessary for setting the image section and Image sharpness; with this amount of light, it is sensitive In most cases not even cl "r today's photographic layers It is necessary to move the photo element out of the path of the light during the exposure. as is well known, the majority of all recordings with the lens stopped down done «and a joooi-e fade-out of practically only one single level is equivalent to. Nevertheless it steals itself j.:doch. an outward movement of the photo element to be provided from the beam path, and z-, var as independent as possible of the connection, so with special 'need z. L. also the frosted picture when taking pictures in the room can be cured accordingly.
With the completion of this second process the release of the lock can be connected in the usual way. Through this one gains the advantage that the setting of focus and image section first at reduced (i.e. due to the diaphragm effect of the inserted photo element reduced) brightness of the matte screen image and correspondingly increased eye sensitivity is made, and then immediately before the snapshot, similar to with a real firearm, to a certain extent go to the pressure point and here through (read: \ us: rhwcnk (-n of the photo element die llelli:; k, -it of the screen image so much heii k: uin. Der Eintritt des kraftschlüssigen Eingriffes der Schubstange g in die Schwenkvorrichtung des Klappspiegels i i wird hierbei als fühlbarer Widerstand beim Niederdrücken des Knopfes S empfunden. The partially cut-off top view of a correspondingly designed game,., (# 1-r (#tl (xkainera shows. \ Bb.2. 1: iimediately behind the lens i with the diaphragm valve 2 is inside the housing 3 the one with a focal plane shutter The camera of the usual design has a photo element designed according to the type of Fig Engagement which is actuated by means of the spring-loaded push button 8 I, gt. The rack 7 runs out into the push rod g, which may be articulated to the pivot axis io of the folding mirror ii in such a way that it only then comes into force-locking engagement with this folding mirror and this swivels upwards out of the beam path in the usual way when the photo element .l gcdrelit through the tooth coupling 5, 6, 7 by about 90 ° around the axis 5 and thereby out of the beam path beforehand has been moved. The entry of the non-positive engagement of the push rod g in the pivoting device of the folding mirror ii is felt as a perceptible resistance when the button S is pressed down.
The measuring instrument 12 connected to the photo element 4 is expedient at the edge of the image field in a section of the 1 \ Iattscheibe 13 and arranged best equipped with a cylinder segment scale, over which the folded over End of the pointer 1.1 rotatable about an axis parallel to the line a-b plays.
