Device for automatic starting of electric motors
Centrifugal machines, especially for concrete pipes In centrifugal machines where
a large mass has to be accelerated to a high speed several times per hour,
is the size of the drive motor in the main by the hourly demanded
Causing work conditional. In certain centrifugal machines, e.g. B. those for concrete pipes,
the starting conditions can be varied within wide limits because they will soon be severe
Masses for the production of large pipes at a low speed, soon to be used for production
Small pipes light masses - must be accelerated to a high speed.
If the start-up acceleration were left the same in all cases, then if the start-up
is dimensioned according to the heavy pipes, the run-up of the light pipes unnecessarily long
last and the machine would be used poorly in terms of time, and vice versa,
if the start-up is stopped after the light pipes, when the start-up of the heavy ones
Pipes of the engine are overloaded impermissibly, which is why one has a larger engine type
would have to install. After the invention is a uniform utilization of the engine for
all operating cases of such machines achieved by the start-up acceleration
is set depending on the mass and final speed. When hurling heavy pipes
the motor slows down to low speeds, while it is easier to spin the pipes
started quickly at high speeds. The usual facilities where the
Device which controls the starting process operated at an unchanged speed
is, are therefore not usable here, provided the drive motor is according to one method
is regulated, which results in a constant torque over the entire working range.

Fig. i ist der Antriebsmotor a, der Schleuder
rit7el c eingreift. Dieses wird von dem Hilfs-
inotor <7 angetrieben, der mittels Vorschalt-
widerstandes j in seiner Drehzahl so geregelt
wird, daß bei kleiner Enddrehzahl des Haupt-
inotors a der Hilfsmotor d langsamer läuft
@"erstellorgan (Mieses Anlassers angebracht
sein. Der Anlasser kann bei Gleichstrommoto-
ren einen Vorschaltwiderstand oder den Feld-
regler eines den Hauptmotor speisenden
Leonardgenerators oder seiner Erreger-
maschine steuern: bei Induktionsmotoren kann
r den Läuferwiderstand regeln, bei Wechsel-
stromkollektormotoren einen Regeltransfor-
mator oder einen Induktionsregler verstellen
oder schließlich die Frequenz eines Freduenz-
umforiners beeinflussen.

niotor d angetrieben. -Mit dem Gleitkontakt
wird zugleich der Anschlag i verschoben, der
gegen den mittels Handspindel lt verstellbaren
Endschalter E stößt. Hierdurch wird die Spule

sich öffnet und damit den Hilfsmotor (7 ab-
s(-haltet.

Of course, you can use a manual control and issue operating instructions that the operator must follow. By mere rules but the intended purpose is practically impossible to achieve, which is why the starting process according to the invention after a previous one, corresponding to the pipe thickness

There are two design options in the line

Fig. I is the drive motor a, the sling
one controlled by brush displacement
1) coil motor. from

tooth segments connected to its brush bridge
inent b, in which the drive
rit7el c intervenes. This is done by the auxiliary
inotor <7 driven, which is
resistance j regulated in its speed
becomes that at low final speed of the main
inotors a the auxiliary motor d runs more slowly
and thus the brush bridge b moves more slowly
than at a high final speed.
The setting of the motor a to a
correct operating speed is achieved by means of the
Hand lever h, the one limit switch e and
the sliding contact ä of the resistance regulator j
wearing. The adjustable with this lever h
Limit switch e is in the circuit of the auxiliary
niotors d and switches it off when the
Stop i of the brush bridge b against the
Limit switch e hits. By swiveling the
Lever h becomes the path of the brush
bridge b limited. Used in the present picture
the lever h is set to the left, the loading
drive speed of the main engine a. small, and
the auxiliary motor cl runs slowly. Will the
Lever h, on the other hand, is set to the right, so is
the operating speed of the main engine a. great,
and the auxiliary motor d runs quickly.
In Fig. I of the drawing is only one of
