Hierzu verwendet man, -wie an sich bekannt, neuerdings sag. Sperrtöpfe. Diese bestehen aus einem axial den Kabelmantel-umschließenden Zylinder, dessen Länge einem Viertel der zu sperrenden Wellenlänge entspricht und der aneinem Ende kurzgeschlossen ist und an dem anderen Ende einen unendlichen hohen Widerstand darstellt. DieserTopf wird an das Ende oder in den Zug des Kabelmantels verlegt, auf dem man den Hochfrequen7strom unterdrücken will. An Stelle dieses 2/q.-Sperrtopfes kann man Sp:err-ebilde mit konzentrierter Kapazität und Induktivität verwenden, wie es in Abb. i für ein Kabelende gezeigt ist. Der Sperrtopf verhindert hierbei, daß ein Hochfrequenzs.trom auf dem Innenleiter aus dem Kabel herausfließen kann.
