Bei den bisherigen Treibrädern für Luft- und Wasserfahrzeuge mit Wendeflügeln werden letztere, wenn sie zu geeigneter Zeit aus der das umgebende Mittel durchschneidenden Stellung in eine solche mit Reacfionswirkung verbundene und umgekehrt gebracht werden, stets um eine in der Flügelebene gelegene Achse gedreht. Die vorliegende Construction weicht. nun hiervon insofern ab, als bei ihr die Flügel um eine aufserhalb ihrer Flächen liegende Achse bewegt werden.
