Mit dieser Maschine soll auch Hirnholz gefräst werden können, ohne dafs die Fräser abbrechen. Für die Cigarrenwickelformen ist es von Vortheil, dafs die einzelnen Formen in die Hirnseite des Holzes eingefräst werden, weil dadurch eine gröfsere Haltbarkeit, namentlich der naturgemäfs entstehenden scharfen Kanten erreicht wird.This machine should also be able to mill end-grain without breaking off the milling cutters.
