Launching sliding body The invention relates in particular to a launching weapon,
which is carried by airplanes in place of normal bombs and with the appropriate
Distance from enemy target dropped by aircraft, gliding below before
fixed pitch angle on the target and there after impact how
a normal high-explosive bomb or cluster bomb explodes. The referenced procedure is
known for a long time. Such launchers, wrongly called air torpedoes,
are known in some designs. It is also known that aircraft like it
Represent discharge sliding body, are equipped with gyro controls that these
stabilize around 2 or 3 axes. The installation of additional devices in airframes
has the disadvantage that this, for. B. the gyro control, are sensitive devices,
which are still powered by special energy sources and are correspondingly large
Have space requirements. Because the space available in these discharge sliding bodies
is low and the additional weight must be kept as small as possible as well
the operation for front use should be as simple as possible, it is desirable, none
To have to make special installations. In addition, it is easy and cheap to manufacture
of great importance. The feature of the invention is that a rotationally symmetrical
Annular structure with or without a rotationally symmetrical hull i (Fig. I and a) im
Flight rotates and the gyroscopic effect of the entire sliding body affects the circular ring structure
stabilized. In order to keep the course deviation small, the center of lift should be
of the circular ring structure should be in the center of gravity of the load to be carried.
A tail unit, as it appears in the German patent specification 260751,
is not necessary. In addition, the well-known air torpedo is not designed to turn around
the longitudinal axis provided as the buoyancy surface 22, which is made of elastic material
consists,
to maintain a certain sliding angle on the top
of the first cylindrical ring must be. Thereby a rotation of the tra, - # is delayed
not possible. The smaller cylindrical rings are to be regarded as tail units
and probably necessary for stabilization. For this purpose, the appears in the drawing
specified embodiment from the aerodynamic point of view rather a projectile than
to be a glide-able launch glider.
The cavity of the launch slider, structure and fuselage is not
cramped by built-in controls and is entirely suitable for use as an Ab @ jurfwaffe
to disposal.
notwendige Rotation erzeugt.Airplanes with a ring structure are by the American patent specification
1 212 954 known. It is also known to generate projectiles by rotating them around their longitudinal axis
to stabilize. It is not known, however, an ejection slider that is basically
taken representing an airplane by rotating around its own axis through the emerging
Stabilize gyroscopic torque. By using thrusters, which are known in
Art can act tangentially and in the direction of flight, due to the increasing flight speed
the sliding angle with a constant longitudinal inclination angle of the discharge sliding body
be improved. The range is thereby increased and that for stabilization
necessary rotation generated.
Die in Abb. i ersichtlichen
The release of a release sliding body proceeds roughly as follows:
The launching glider is attached to the carrier aircraft on the approach by a special drive,
z. B. propeller, electric motor or compressed air motor, set in rotation and in
thrown off at a distance corresponding to your glide angle. Which can be seen in Fig. I
Propeller-shaped struts 3 are used to maintain rotation in flight.
However, it is not absolutely necessary to keep the speed constant through the struts 3
hold, as the flights take a few minutes and the drop in speed is hardly noticeable
is.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht die Erfindung an 3 Ausführungsbeispielen..
