Contact arrangement for flashing light on photographic focal plane shutters
The present invention relates to a contact arrangement for flash ignition on photographic
Focal plane shutters, which have the desired synchronous sequence of shutter and flash firing
achieved without a special adjustment by the contact screw for the closure
of the flashlight circuit is required. This is in a manner known per se
achieved in that the contact closure for .the flashing light .by a with
the closure running gear member is effected directly.
With this type of contact control there is a risk of premature
Ignition, there, the locking mechanism moves backwards during tensioning and at the same time
the contact is touched again.
auskommt. Now it is known that you can get such a premature ignition by doing this
One seeks to counteract the fact that there are two interruptions in the circuit of the flashing light
provides, of which one by one when cocking and unwinding the closure
movable gear member, the second is bridged by the shutter release.
With this arrangement, ignition is only possible when the trigger
is operated when the shutter is cocked. The subject of the invention forms in this
Considering a significant simplification by using a single power switch
gets by.
This is achieved in that the mating contact is formed by a member
that only when the trigger is pressed into the path of the synchronous with the
Closure of expiring contact arrives.
Fig. i zeigt -die Gesamtanordnung, während Fig.2 in vergrößertem Maßstabe die Anordnung
In
Fig. i ist i der elektrische Akkumulator, der in bekannter Weise an dem Pho@taapparat
Fig.2
Fig. i ) niedergedrückt
The contact arrangement of the present invention is shown in FIGS. FIG. 1 shows the overall arrangement, while FIG. 2 shows, on an enlarged scale, the arrangement of the contact spring to the mating contact on the gear member running with the lock in elevation and side view, after and before the tensioned lock. In Fig. I i is the electrical accumulator which is attached in a known manner to the Pho @ taapparat; the one pole 3 is connected to the camera 2, while the line 3+ connected to the other pole, in which the flashlight bulb 4 is switched on, leads to the contact pin 6 passed through the camera cover in an isolated manner. On the existing leaf spring 7 of the apparatus chosen as an example for the present contact arrangement, which is depressed after pressing the release button by the plunger 8 when the shutter roller 9 is released in order to trigger the flash, the contact spring io is insulated, while a Branch spring ii of the latter rests permanently on the contact pin 6. 12 represents: the fastening of the springs? and io on the camera housing. In the usual embodiment of the apparatus selected here as an example of the contact arrangement, the circular disk 13 with the nose 15 runs synchronously with the axis 14 of the slot shutter roller 9. By pressing down the release button, the plunger 8 presses the leaf spring 7 and at the same time the contact spring io downwards. As a result, the front edge of the contact spring io is positioned in front of the nose 15. At the beginning of the closure sequence, the nose 15 touches the contact spring io and thus closes the ignition circuit or causes the flashing light to be ignited. Fig.2 shows at a. the position of the contact spring io and the nose 15 with the slotted shutter opened at the moment when the leaf spring 7 is depressed by the plunger 8 (see Fig. i), i.e. at the beginning of the shutter sequence and the return of the disc 13 in the direction of the arrow. Here, the front edge of the contact spring io is directly in front of the nose 1 5. The circuit of the flash light ignition is therefore closed at the moment when the disc 13 expires and the nose 15 touches the contact spring io. At b, FIG. Z shows the position of the lug 15 after the focal plane shutter has expired or after the disc 13 has returned completely, as well as the position of the contact spring io here. There is a clearance between the lug 15 and the contact spring io, whereby a contact of the contact spring io with the lug 15 during the tensioning of the focal plane shutter is excluded. On the other hand, a closure of the electrical circuit for the flashlight ignition cannot occur when the spring 7 is pressed down by the trigger 8 if the curtain roller is not drawn up or the film is not transported. A closure of the ignition circuit or the Blitzlichta solution is only possible when the focal plane shutter is opened and the trigger is actuated.
