machen.Differential control for flap-coupled ailerons
The invention relates to a differential control for landing flaps coupled
Ailerons, in which the control rods for landing flaps and ailerons through
Force transmission members are inevitably connected to one another in this way; that the
Ailerons on their own; as such, can be knocked out while in use
Both types of flaps as landing flaps, both types of flaps, deflections of different sizes
do.
The invention consists in that between the operating linkage
Engaged gear is designed such that the two types of flap initially
deflect the same amount, but then the rudder opposite the flaps to deflection width
lag behind.
So it occurs in the device according to the invention with the beginning of the
second period, d. H. only at a deflection angle of approximately
3o ° of the valves, the differentiation. In contrast, there are proposals for differential controls
known, in which the differentiation already at the beginning of the first deflection period
begins. In this case, however, the most favorable conditions for start and
Landing not achieved. Because for the start you want. as large a part of the zur
Available deflection of the ailerons can be used as a starting aid,
while vice versa, with slow flight and employed landing aids and ailerons,
the latter should only account for a fraction of the flap deflection.
As is well known, one leaves the differentiation at the beginning of the swing
are used, the aileron deflection is too high
the consequence that in slow flight there is neither sufficient aileron effectiveness nor none
sufficient roll stability is more achievable.

Weise- erreicht: Eine etwa auf Flugzeugmitte angeordnete Mutter i (Abb. i) mit Rechts-
und Linksgewinde dient zur Längsverschiebung der beiden
Spindeln
The explanation of the drawings is preceded by the fact that: it is a differentiation of the path that a point of the valve linkage covers, and that unevenly. In the illustrated embodiment, this is achieved in the following way: A nut i (Fig shifted in its longitudinal direction. The linkage engages at 6 on a right-angled double-lift 17, 8, the axis of rotation of which is denoted by 9. At the free end of the lever 8, the rod io leading to the landing flap is articulated at 23. A double lever 12, 13 is mounted on the 'double lever 7, 8 on the axis ii. At the free end of the lever 12, the rod 14 engages at 21, the longitudinal displacement of which rotates the lever 12, 13 about its axis ii and continues to move the linkage 15, 16, 17. This linkage engages a right-angled lever i9 which can be rotated by i 8 and moves the aileron (not shown) by means of the rod 2o. If the aileron control rod 14 is moved, this does not in any way affect the double lever. 7, 8 influenced, ie the aileron is operated without the associated landing flap making a movement. If, on the other hand, the linkage 3, 4, 5 is displaced in its longitudinal direction by turning the nut i, thereby moving the landing flap, the double lever 17, 8 makes a rotary movement by 9 and takes the double lever 12, 13 mounted on it with it. The arrangement of the two double levers is shown in Fig. 2 on a larger scale. The position of the lever shown corresponds to a flap position in which both the landing flap and the aileron lie completely in the wing profile. If the aileron rod 14 is not moved, but a pull is exerted on the rod 5 in the direction of the arrow P, then, as already mentioned, the double lever 7, 8 makes a pivoting movement by 9 and takes the eccentrically attached axis 11 of the double lever 12, 13 with. The double lever 12, 13 is prescribed: a very specific movement in which the point 21 acts as a fulcrum because the rod 14 does not change its position in the longitudinal direction. If the double lift 17, 8 is initially moved by 30 °, point ii moves to i i ', point 6 to 6' and point 23 to 23 '. Points 6, 23 and I 1 have moved 3o ° on an arc of 9. The point 21 after 21 'and the point 22, at which the rod 15 leading to the aileron is hinged, moved to 22'. If the double lever 7, 8 moves by another 30 °, ie by a total of 60 °, from its initial position, point 6 moves to 6 ", point 23 to 23" and point ii to ii ". All these points make a movement of 60 ° from their starting position. Point 21 moves to 21 "and point 22 to 22". If you compare the position of points 22, 22 'and 22 ", you can see that the Point 22 with respect to the longitudinal direction of the rod 15 during the first 3o ° angular movement of the double lever 7, 8 has covered a significantly greater distance than during the second angular movement of 3o ". The first distance a is substantially greater than the second distance b, ie the aileron linkage is moved by the distance a when the flap is deflected by 30 ° during take-off, with the flap and the aileron making an approximately equal deflection due to the further arrangement of components If s turned, the aileron remains significantly behind this angular movement, since its total deflection is now equal to a; - b, that is, considerably smaller than 2a.
