auszubilden.Drum-shaped mechanical image scanner for television use It is
a drum-shaped mechanical image scanner for television use is known in which
there is a multi-thread row of holes or lenses, d. h, in which the image scanning holes,
which can optionally be equipped with small lenses, for a complete

to arrange such a coarse diaphragm inside the scanning drum and also drum-shaped
to train.
According to the invention, an advantageous - construction of the whole
Image scanner and a simplification of the drive of the coarse aperture achieved
be that the coarse diaphragm is arranged eccentrically to the perforated or lens drum and
driven directly by a gear attached to the axis of the main drum
will.
33 hindurchtritt. An embodiment of the invention is illustrated in Fig, i of the drawing. Inside the perforated drum 37, the image scanning holes of which are denoted by 33 and which also has a perforated ring 32 for generating synchronizing pulses, lies the coarse diaphragm drum 133. The coarse diaphragm is driven directly from the axis of the main drum via a gearwheel 4o and a toothed ring 4 i, which is placed on the circumference of the coarse diaphragm drum. The coarse diaphragm itself is mounted in a traverse 39 , which can be fastened in a suitable manner within the fixed housing i o. A flange 63 is attached to the cover of this housing. on which a scanning light source can be placed, so that the scanning light passes through the image scanning holes 33 via the mirror 142 in the interior of the coarse aperture.
In Figure 2, the circumference of the perforated drum 37 is shown developed.
The row 33 of the image scanning holes and the row of holes 32 for generating the sync pulses
are labeled as in Fig. i. It can be seen that to a full image scan
belong two full revolutions of the perforated drum.
Schlitz 36.Fig.3 also shows the circumference of the coarse aperture drum when unwound.
In principle, a coarse diaphragm for an image scanning drum according to Fig.2
like that
be that they are at two revolutions of the imaging drum
covers one revolution each time, so that the slot in the coarse diaphragm is located
should extend over their entire circumference. However, this would be very inconvenient
Lead constructions of the coarse diaphragm drum. The slot would have to be so on
Circumference of the coarse diaphragm drum, as shown in Fig.3 by the dash-dotted line
Line A is indicated. which practically means that you have the coarse aperture drum off
must run transparent material, which then with an opaque layer
is covered with recess of the slot A. It should therefore like the coarse aperture
shown in Figure 3, with more than one slot, for example with three slots,
are executed. These are labeled 3.1 to 36 in Fig. 3. The speed of rotation
the coarse aperture must then be chosen so much smaller than the coarse aperture with
only one slit would have to run than the number of slits in the coarse aperture.
For example, if the perforated drum in Fig. 2, its row of holes 33 two screw threads
contains, rotates at a speed of 12 units, would have to use a coarse aperture
with a slot A have a peripheral speed of 6 units, while
a coarse diaphragm with three slits 3.1 to 36 has a peripheral speed of 2
Must own units. Moved within the first two revolutions of the perforated drum
the coarse diaphragm then only extends around the extent of the slot 3 [along the drum circumference
the coarse aperture away. During the next two revolutions of the perforated drum occurs
the slot 35 in action and during the turn of the next two revolutions of the
Slot 36.
