Description
Process for the production of a feed containing protein and carbohydrates In the recent effort that has come to the fore, through drying To preserve the potatoes in various forms is a major issue Peeling waste from potatoes. Their amounts vary depending on the type of peeling used and according to the purpose that the potatoes to be processed are to serve, between 6 and 30% of the raw potatoes to be processed. The waste represents therefore for the The potato processing industry represents values whose processing into useful substances must be desirable. The most diverse ways of doing this are therefore also described been; almost all make it their goal; the peeling waste to a feed to process. The endeavor of agriculture is known to be a feed to get that, in addition to carbohydrates, also contains digestible protein has substances. It is understandable that you can get these proteins off as well would like to take any waste in order to get the cheapest possible feed on the one hand and extensive exploitation of all kinds of agricultural waste on the other hand to achieve.
As already mentioned, it is known to use dried peeling waste as fodder. Likewise, it is well known to feed dried Pül'pe as a protein-rich animal feed. In contrast, one knows a mixing both cases waste for the purpose of producing a koh len @ ydrat- and night protein-rich feed. Whole potatoes with pulp are probably processed into a feed based on the method of a German patent specification. However, due to the temperature sensitivity of the protein, the route described there cannot lead to a good result. As is well known, the digestibility of protein decreases when it is necessary to stay at a higher temperature for a longer period of time.
Using raw chopped potatoes is made according to the method mentioned above Patent so much already dried pulp mixed that the moisture the raw potatoes are largely absorbed. The. Wed research will then pressed and, if necessary, the moldings are dried in a tunnel dryer. So the pulp must first be dried. This represents the first heating of the egg white in the manufacturing process. Second is the potato pulp mixture dried, so that a second heating of the egg white is necessary. Before feeding you also have to cook the product to break down the starch, which makes the Egg white is heated a third time. It can be foreseen that through this threefold Heating the digestibility of the protein severely suffers.
Aside from these drawbacks, it's just technically difficult and with Great effort is possible, dried pulp with raw potato graters is perfect to mix.
The method of the present invention avoids the foregoing Disadvantages and, allows the production of a feed that, in addition to carbohydrates also contains digestible protein and consists of peeling waste and potato mash. For this purpose, the peeling waste is first steamed to maximize its strength largely unlocked. The steamed waste is then mixed with the moist potato pulp. The intimate mix of steamed potato waste with damp potato pulp is easier to do than mixing dry pulp with raw potato graters. Then this mixture is dried. It is preferable to use a linen drum dryer, - because it dries quickly and short exposure to temperature for this type of drying to maintain the digestibility of proteins is cheap. Of course you can change the mixing ratio of steamed Adjust peeling waste for potato pulp to the respective market conditions. Opposite to the known method described above, the method of the invention has the The advantage is that the egg white is only heated very briefly once. A boil of the feed before turning it is not necessary in the method of the invention, because the starch is already unlocked by steaming. Execution examples i. 25 kg potato peeling waste, consisting of potato peelings with potato paste and, if not, so-called eyes, are steamed in a steamer. Before the Attenuation, they contain about 820! O moisture, which during steaming is 76% Humidity decreases. Steaming is done with steam at 0.5 atmospheres pressure and takes about 30 minutes. Mixing takes place in a downstream mixing screw this steamed mass with 751, -g press-moist pulp, which is about 71% moisture contains. The mixture is brought into the by the mixing screw with about 72% moisture Filling trough of a drum dryer brought. The drying roller on which the mixture is applied the press rolls is applied, is heated with steam at 5 atmospheres pressure and runs five revolutions per minute. The removal knife removes the dried feed in the form of a veil from the roller, on which it was only heated for about ten seconds.
Gemische folgende Feuchtigkeitszahlen:
