Verfahren zum Herstellen von Ziegeln, Platten oder anderen Formstücken durch Brennen einer Mischung aus Torfmull und Ton Die Entsäuerung von Torfmull ist bekannt und stellt somit nichts Neues dar. Die Vermengung des Torfmulls mit Ton ist ebenfalls bekannt und somit nicht als neue Erfindung zu bezeichnen. Neu ist aber, daß auf chemischem Wege entsäuerter Tarfmull mit Ton vermengt wird. Torfmull verändert sich, wenn er auf chemischem-Wege entsäuert wird, so grundlegend in seiner Struktur, daß er in diesem Zustande eine homogene Mischung mit dem Ton :eingeht. Es läßt sich eine salbenartige Masse erzielen, welche eine gleichmäßige Formung zuläßt. Dibekannte Herstellung von Formstücken aus einem Gemenge von unbehandeltem Torfmull und Ton hat sich nicht bewährt, weil es bislang niemals zu einer homogenen Mischung der verwendeten Stoffe gekommen ist. Diese Formstücke hatten daher den Nachteil, daß sie wenig gleichmäßig- in ihrer Struktur waren und somit sich nur bedingt verbrauchen ließen. Zum andern war es notwendig, die Huminsäure aus dem Torf zu entfernen. Das einzige Verfahren, das hierfür angewendet wurde, war das Auswintern oder Ausregnenlassen des Torfes.
