Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von keramischen Massen Nach dem Hauptpatent 6ß-2 96o wird die mechanische Festigkeit von Porzellan, Steingut und ähnlichen, unter Verwendung von Quarz in Korngrößen unterhalb 0,o6 mm hergestellten feinkeramischen Massen ganz wesentlich verbessert, wenn von-einer Kornverteilungsart, wie sie die Naßkugelmühle zwangsläufig liefert und die grundsätzlich durch eine Veränderung der 'Mahldauer nicht beeinßußbar ist, abgegangen und der Quarz in ganz besonderer Klassierung in die Masse eingeführt wird. Nach dem Hauptpatent muß der Quarz zu mindestens 50 % aus Korngrößen zwischen 0,o15 und 0,030 mm bestehen. Ganz besonders günstige Wirkungen werden dann erzielt, wenn mehr als 75 °/o des Quarzes in den Korngrößen zwischen 0,015 und 0,030 mm vorliegen. Überraschenderweise hat sich nun gezeigt, daß die mechanische Festigkeit nicht nur der genannten feinkeramischen, sondern auch die von grobkeramischen Werkstoffen, wie Klinkern, Fußhodenplatten, Steinzeug u..dgl., ganz wesentlich erhöht werden kann, wenn die zur Lagerung benutzten Stoffe, insbesondere der Quarz, ebenfalls zu mindestens 5o °/0, vorzugsweise zu mehr als 75 °/o in Korngrößen zwischen 0,o15 und 0,030 mm in die Masse eingeführt werden.
