Der Gegenstand dient zur Halterung von Schreibgeräten, insbesondere von Kugelschreibern und Bleistiften· Die bisher gebräuchlichen Halterungen zur Pesthaltung eines Schreibgerätes an der Kleidung fußten vornehmlich auf Metallklammern, Nadeln oder Schraubklemmen.
