Verfahren zum Verbessern des thermischen Abbaues von Kunstkautschuk in Fellform Das weitere Fortschreiten der Verwendung von Kunstkautschuk macht seine verstärktere Vorbehandlung notwendig, um ähnliche gebrauchs fähige Mischungen, wie beim Naturkautschuk, herstellen zu können. Verarbeitungstechnisch gesehen, unterscheidet sich Kunstkautschuk vom Naturkautschuk im wesentlichen dadurch, daß er nicht thermoplastisch ist. Es ergibt sich hieraus die Notwendigkeit einer weitgehenden Vorbehandlung, um die für die Aufnahme von Chemikalien unbedingt erforderliche Plastizität zu erreichen. Es ist bekannt, daß diese Plastizität durch Bearbeitung des Kautschuks auf Walzen (Mastizieren) oder durch Einwirken von Wärme (thermischer Abbau) erreicht werden kann. Diese feine Zerkrümelung des Kunstkautsdiuks hat sich als eine außerordentlich günstige Beeinflussung des thermischen Abbaues erwiesen, da man auf diese Weise in geringerer Zeit und bei geringerer Temperatur günstigere Plastizitäten erreicht, als es beim normalen Abbau von Kunstkautschukfellen der Fall ist. Die durch die Bearbeitung gemäß der Erfindung erhaltenen Krümel zeichnen sich durch geringere Dichte aus, da sie bei dem Zerreißvorgang poröser werden. Hierin unterscheiden sich sehr wesentlich diese neuartigen Kunstkautschukkrümel von den bekannten Krümeln, die in dieser Form vom Erzeuger angeliefert werden. Der von früher her bekannte Kunstkautschuk in Krümelfotm ist dagegen nichts anderes als ein beim Herstellungsprozeß ausgeflockten und getrockneter Kunstkautschuk, der jedoch nicht die günstigen Eigenschaften der unmittelbar aus den Fellen kurz vor dem Abbau zerpflückten Krümel hat.
