Description

Movie. for sound recordings The present invention relates to "a Sound film particularly suitable for the recording of such sound recordings made with the help of ultraviolet light.

It is known to make sound recordings with the help of ultraviolet light to manufacture. These sound recordings show better frequency reproduction, especially in the higher pitches than those made with visible light. So far it has been very difficult with this method to get the image of the sound gap . Focus on the film, since the ultraviolet light is no longer in the visible Area lies. A mixture of visible light has been used for this purpose and ultraviolet light, but then you need a lens whose focal point for the wavelength of the ultraviolet radiation used for recording and the visible radiation used for setting must coincide. These requirements Only lens systems that are very difficult to manufacture and therefore very expensive are sufficient.

Als fluoreszierende Stoffe kommen u. a. The present invention avoids these disadvantages. as a result of that the sound film is so formed that it has a fluorescent layer provided forerun. The setting of the generated with the ultraviolet light Tonspaltbildes can then in a simple manner on .dem Vorlauf with the help of the FluQreszenzlichtes caused by the ultraviolet light. It is beneficial if the lead consists of the same or similar material as the sound film itself, because then the mechanical properties of the film and the leader are the same or are at least similar, especially in terms of strength and Shrinkage has a beneficial effect. The best way to do this is to get film and preroll off one piece. The fluorescent layer can e.g. B. by brushing of the first run can be applied with a fluorescent mass. As fluorescent Fabrics come among others Zinc sulfide, sodium salicylate or fluorescein are possible. It is The fluorescent layer is useful in order to get the sharpest possible image very fine-grained to choose. From this point of view, e.g. B. a fluorescent Solution, such as fluorescein in gelatin, which are applied to a film and solidify is left, advantageous.
