die Metalle aus Amalgamen, selbst wenn sie nur wenig angereichert sind, gewinnen
kann, wenn man die Scheidung des Quecksilbers in mehreren Stufen vornimmt. Man arbeitet
zweckmäßig in der Wleise, daß in einer ersten Stufe durch Außenheizung dlas Quecksilber

Kammer muß über dem Schmelzpunkt des darin befindlichen Amalgams liegen, was man
durch geeignete Wahl des Unterdrucks und durch richtige Durchsatzgeschwindigkeiten
erreicht. Die Größe der Kammern sinkt rasch mnit fallendem Qnecksilbergehalt. Die

reinstes Zink zurück, das in Gießformen abgestochen wird. Die Quecksilberdämpfe
werden in einem hochgelegenen Wärmeaustauscher niedergeschlagen und fließen in die
