Abstract
The control, for equipment which uses compressed air or water at pressure with a fine grained abrasive material to clean contaminated surfaces, is mounted on a single hand held pistol with trigger (2) which incorporates a mixer and nozzle (3). Water at high pressure is delivered to the pistol (2) through a pump (1) and pipe (E1). An air compressor (4) supplies air to a material tank (6) and sends an air/material mixture to the mixer (3) by Venturi effect. Water is controlled by the pistol trigger and a lever on the same pistol controls the flow of material using a tank valve (V1) and pipe (A7).
