KLASSE B4: Papiererzeugnisse.CLASS B4: paper products.
Patentirt im Deutschen Reiche vom 13. August 1892 ab.Patented in the German Empire on August 13, 1892.
All attempts so far made to recover paper waste in connection with Gyps, Thon and Processing similar materials into spools and handles of all kinds has so far been unsuccessful, because the objects formed from such mass have warped, cracks and Cracks when drying showed and also much too heavy in weight compared to wood was. The new process consists of making china clay and grating it into flour Kneading waste paper with paste in a cold way, until a completely and evenly mixed mass is obtained. It is best to take 3 parts china clay and 2 parts of scrap paper, ground into flour, and a corresponding quantity Paste. The mass obtained can be shaped; it is pressed into molds and the finished, Objects removed from the molds are air-dried for as long as until their outer layer no longer shows any wet traces. Depending on the weather, this may take time 24 to 36 hours. Then the objects are left completely dry treated with gradually increased heat. The roughness increases with a few turns the sanding machine removed and the shine removed by terry cloth with a woolen rag generated; they then look remarkably similar to finely polished wooden forms and have the same durability and the same weight, but more than half the price.
With the above procedure one can also use the China-Clay Gyps, Federweifs and the like in small Mix in quantities. The objects formed in this way do not warp and also show no cracks and cracks when drying.
The previous attempts on a small scale to grind waste paper into flour, have been made in the most primitive way on an ordinary fine kitchen grater.
A machine that delivers the same results for large farms would run in the Construct in a manner that the scraps of paper should be stuffed into a large funnel and thrown through regular pressure on. a rotating open steel cylinder, which is made in a similar manner as the grater is provided with fine, sharp holes. The finished one Flour would then fall out sideways.
