Abstract

The invention relates to a method for the removal of nitrogen from natural gas by means of cryocondensation. According to the invention liquid oxygen is used as the cooling means. Usually the natural gas has a nitrogen content of about 14% by volume. The invention further relates to an installation for the removal of nitrogen from natural gas. <IMAGE>
