Den Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatz-Patentes bilden einige Abänderungen an dem durch Patent Nr. 68717 geschützten Streckenstromschliefser, und zwar insbesondere eine zweckmäfsigere Anordnung der Stromschliefsertheile. Wie aus der beiliegenden Zeichnung ersichtlich, welche die Vorrichtung in Fig. 1 im senkrechten Längsschnitt und Fig. 2 im Querschnitt zeigt, ist der Stromschlufsstift q^l unmittelbar an einem neben dem Hebel A² auf der Welle b sitzenden Arm d angeordnet. Anstatt den Stift federnd zu machen, ist hier der Arm d federnd angeordnet; derselbe sitzt lose drehbar auf der Welle b und steht unter dem Einflufs einer innerhalb seiner Nabe liegenden, die Welle b umgebenden Schraubenfeder f, deren eines Ende an der Welle und deren anderes Ende an der Nabe des Armes d befestigt ist, so dafs dieser entsprechend nachgeben kann, wenn der Stift q¹ bereits vor beendigter Drehung der Welle b an der Stromschlufsplatte s anliegt.As can be seen from the accompanying drawing, which shows the device in Fig. 1 in vertical longitudinal section and Fig. 2 in cross section, the power connection pin q ^{l is arranged} directly on an arm d seated next to the lever A ² on the shaft b . Bei Bildung des Stromschlusses stöfst der Stromschlufsstift ^¹ an die Platte s an, drückt dieselbe bei weiterer Drehung des Armes d zurück und schleift hierbei auf ihr entlang, wobei etwaige an der Stromschlufsplatte anhaftende Unreinigkeiten, welche einen guten Stromschlufs beeinträchtigen, abgeschabt werden.
